    THANK YOU! finally, someone with a non-whitebread situation! your slopes aren't 35° (which is physically difficult to stand on, i think you mean 35%), but they Are significant, and similar to the ones i have. many, many thanks for sharing your experience.

    Thanks for a great video. yes, most of the videos you've seen all have a smooth and nice lawn. Ours looks almost like yours, uneven terrain with moss and fir roots. we started by cutting the grass with a normal lawnmower, then we let the robot cut (set to the longest) then drive around for a week or so, at every obstacle it gets stuck in, we fix it by filling soil or blocking, when the robot can do it, we lower cut height, slip a little with the tires so we bought special "tyres/wheel side" from Germany looks like a cut blade and screw on now it goes forward quickly and without slipping.

    This is hilarious this is the best example of misuse of a Landroud I've ever seen or ....best heavy duty experience test ever ... that thing will last about one year before it dies ...not designed for 8 inch grass and dirt...lol and mud

    Wow, this video on Worx Landroid caught my attention! As someone who's been searching for lawnmowers without perimeter wires, I stumbled upon the Segway Navimow robotic lawnmower. It's a game-changer! The convenience it offers compared to other brands is amazing. Not only does it save me time and effort, but its efficiency is unmatched. Highly recommend giving Segway Navimow a try!

    I had the same issue (infinite loop into tree as shown in first 7 seconds), even with ACS installed; solution was to exclude tree root area from mow area or put some bricks around tree.
    And put some iron spikes on both rear wheels.

    Seems like it might keep up with fast growing grass? Fescue is some tough stuff growing in clumps. At least your yard isn't a golf course.

    Does the mower detect the leash of the dog or is the dog just responsible for it?

    I've heard some people screw small screws into the back tires for extra traction kind of like studded tires... it may help especially in your rough terrain

    man your grass is tall.....don't think the worx is built for this type of environment. To prevent it from getting stuck I attached a 2.5 pound dumbell to it via safety wire.....adding that weight prevents it from being stuck on hills less than 35 Degrees.

    I have no experience in those robots whatsoever, but even I would have known enough to not but this low range model for such a difficult ground. I'm not even sure there is an appropriate one for your battlefield. Lawn mowing robot... Lawn... You got no lawn dude. you were expecting miracles and got mad they did not happen lol

    Hi. I have a question: how much wire did you use for your perimeter? Cuz I read only of Worx site that the maximum limit is 350 meters. I have a very large yard and I'm under the limit of the manufacturer but some trees have many roots and I'm thinking of exclude them with the wire.
    Are there any problems, if you know about it, with very long peripheral wire?

    2 years in and I am still waiting for the AI...
    v3.26 is still not very useful on my M1000. There is absolutely no intelligent decisions being made under that orange shell.
    If you shell out extra for the GPS, don't expect it to use it for anything other than allowing you to check it's location.
    The forward facing radar will avoid tall grass.
    Magnetic no-go conflicts with the radar and causes it to stick in endless loops of no-go - back off and go right, avoid object by turning left, dho! no-go, always turn right again and repeat...
    This could have been so good, but the programming is just not up to snuff. They should just port open-mower to it and give people a better experience.

      With daily mowing you wouldn't want anything but random mowing or else it will leave marks.

    Wouldnt it be easier to just hire a guy with excavator, even the terrain, as good as possible, then prep the lawn as it should be?
    I think you are just destroying this cute robot because its not meant for this kind of terrain.

    wtf? you don't buy a robot to such a "grass" or "lawn" because that's not a lawn really... that's not the terrain for any kind of robot. You at least could get the sticks out of his path... wtf man

    Worx Landroid, NO THANK YOIU. These Machines are crap. We have bought of them, both are now broken after less then 2 years. Service ...ha ha. If you deal with them it takes ages, so we gave up, organized parts from Germany and fixed them ourself. Both main rotor engine broken (bearings) and on one the STOP bottom get stucked. We would never buy them again.

  • @refzz1259

    The random cutting pattern will never look good. The technology just isn't ready. If you are too lazy to mow you are certainly too lazy to babysit this dumb box when it gets stuck

    • @w00t3r
      @w00t3r 2 года назад +3

      Wrong. My lawn has never looked better. You have to pick a mower that can maintain your lawn based on size, cut length and time (often the mower gets chosen solely based on the mowed area). People often cut too low and get issues: lines, patches, errors and warnings on the machine. I have none of that.

    • @Armurp01
      @Armurp01 2 года назад +1

      @Refzz I would have to disagree with you on that, you cut one time with your standard mower and let the landroid maintain the HOC

      I have a lawn like this roughly half an acre with lots of trees and thick grass. I also developed arthritis due to an auto immune condition and have no family or partner support. Would you call someone like me lazy for wanting a reasonable tech solution than constantly affording and employing people to cut your grass weekly (with all the added security and costs that entails), or have you simply not envisaged how life is for those who are not constantly physically able? Do you expect us all to just give up?
