Wow. I haven't been to Chinatown in so long, watching this is new to me. I never went into some of those alleys, and didn't know there were vendors in there. As a kid, my folks only shopped the markets along King Street for char siu and roast pork.
Hi from AZ 👋... we we’re in Oahu about 4yrs ago. And every time I see one of your videos it brings me back. Especially all the shopping we did in Waikiki beach area🛍. I think we’re planning on going in the next couple of years and we’re gonna stay either at the outrigger or at Moana Surfrider. Best place we ate at was at Duke‘s, and they have the best blue Hawaiian’s... Aloha 🧉🏄🏽♀️🏖🌺🤟🏼

I heard campus slowly reopen to the public by that time in August. If you can, could you please do us all a video of UH Manoa? Thanks again for sharing us the video!
Frankly, I miss Chinatown a lot. I hope Mrs. Wong, the owner of Wong & Wong on Smith St. or Bethel St. was the best. If I ever move back to Honolulu, it would be nice to find a remodeled unit above some restaurant of plaza. The fish markets were an experience for me, as were the Majong players in the parks.
I'd love to visit this place more often but at the same time being here also feels scary. :c I hear all sorts of stories from my family about sketchy people at night or even daytime in Chinatown.
What?! It looks nice and clean here ..I went last month and it was scary it was like a scene from the walking dead there was drug addicts/homeless almost everywhere. I felt unsafe.
