Yeh, this banjo is a "fanned fret" banjo, which means the higher pitched strings are shorted and vice versa with the lower pitched strings...this apparently helps with intonation and tone
I was born in Dundee, so great to hear a Scottish song and played so well on a clawhammer banjo, one for me to learn!
