Imagine being those Zone Troopers, you were called in by drop pod to a loosing battle against some mind control bugs only to have your own minds taken over and forced to shoot against your own side. Then suddenly that control is broken free and you feel such a sudden urge for revenge for the team killing that you go all out destroying every damn bug in your way whether it be massive tripods to walking brains. And it's through this revenge that the battle is finally won for your side. Fuck this could make for a great novel.

Im always pro-scrin but just for this match, I’m all for GDI. That zone troopers and snipers play i dont see them often and they are shown how to play so well in this game.
Short yet exciting. I thought when they first clash at the middle there, i was thinking Sharpsense is gonna have take the W there but Eclipse held on with the Zone Trooper plays.
The first mission in Africa in the GDI campaign for Tib Wars is centered around just making mass zone troopers with a few rocket squads for air support and I gotta say, it really sold me on how fun zone troopers are. Glad to see them get such a central role in a game just ripping through units
Mind controll is OP as hek. I really liked this battle. Both sides trying to ouplay the other, probing defenses, using mixed units, focusing key targets. Gotta love it. GG for both.
My god... Ive been playing kanes wrath for ever now, but i cant recall when i managed to get those zone troopers to heroic status!! And even if i did, i stg i never couldve imagined such a huuugee damage output!!!!
individual mine control is fine if the cooldown is low, the area mind control is real stupid though. i like Brood wars approach with the dark archon, its mind control is single target, permeant, shortrange, big cool down and expensive plus it takes a while after the unit is built for mind control to be ready.

Reaper and Scrin are played. Reaper cannot teleport away their Hexapod, so that is their biggest downside, but they have good units to compensate, along with shielded harvesters.
@@pumkinheadman4320 reaper has one of the better units, like shardwalker are just better gunwalker, same for their triploids, they lack utility tho as their infintry is just bad and they have close to no air, they are the hammer faction and so in hight level they are not that amazing
How is it possible to play in multiplayer? I watch this channel since a long while, but i just can't figure it out... is it some kind of 3rd party stuff? I use the Steam version.
People are either using C&C Online or LAN emulation clients (like Command Post VPN feature) C&C Online: cnc-online.net/en/ Command Post: cgf-uploads.net/
I think in the first engagement Eclipse kinda lost control of his units. Juggs just started moving forward, the predator takns kept moving forward, and so on. It was more of a fluke, than a skill(no disrespect to Sharpsense).
Zone troops have no hard counters available for them by Scrin, they dominate that faction. It's one of the few faction imbalances in the game. They waste gunwalkers too fast, if you get the scanner packs upgrade (range buff and stealth detection), the gunwalkers can't even get a shot off. And that's before they get any ranks on, heroic zones can solo epic units.
@@Alex.Akagami Heroic zone trooper full squad 1 shots a gunwalker, and fires again in less than a second, and they self heal. 7 gunwalkers could, at most, take 1 guy off the squad. And there were 2 heroic zone troops. And predator tanks.

@@Alex.Akagami no, gunwalkers don't do enough damage vs zone troopers, let alone hero zone troopers. Just in this replay, a Tripod lasted 3-4 seconds against them. Gunwalkers would die instantly. If the zones get overwhelmed, they just jumpjet away and heal up. Plus he could get scanner packs and then outrange the scrin forces and kite them forever. And again this is not counting that there were railgun predators, juggernauts, hammerheads all near the zone troops.
Mind controls in rts might require good skills to use, but its just never entertaining to watch for me. I'd rather see armies clashing rather than mind control units running around trying to catch some enemy units. Mind controls in starcraft 2 is especially boring to watch.
I personally prefere troopers a bit but that mainly comes from my infintry only chalange where they were just amazing, I decided to finish tiberium wars campain on hard with only Barack units (GDI, Nod and Scrin ones plus also kains wrath) and from all campaings the eaziest one and most fun was the GDI one and those amazing zone troopers, where after I got 10 sqads everything that was not a black hand sqad just disapeared, in sarayewo I managed to def the atacks with just them and a heroic comando without anny loses as when qnny sqad members died I had 2 armories ready yo heal them, the best part were the despreate holds where on one mission I had 5 amrmories petmamently healing my units, its so much fun to play that way

There was a chance for Sharp to win in the last battle. Unfortunately, his prodigy was sniped and thus, chaos in the enemy lanes never happened

Yes each shot does damage, but there's some RNG in them firing. I believe the first shot does more damage than the others.
such a good game this should be as competitive as starcraft2. But i believe CNC3 needs better maps
