@@Ququestion as an amateur dev, I would imagine that replays, since you can see the income of players by selecting them, has that data stored within the replay file. It wouldn't be too difficult to access that data, just finding out where it is and what it's called.

That was a hilarious game from start to finish. Don't think I have seen so much Commando action in a C&C 3 or Kane's Wrath game ever before, haha.
Kind of surprised Masterleaf didn't go for some Rocketheads in the midgame, that would've been funny too, using the Nod infantry to load up some Hammerheads.
Rocketheads are ok, but flamerheads are gigachad ;)
@@Vordikk Would have been even more entertaining indeed, though probably not as useful. But it'd be such a big surprise factor lol...
@@aasgier9091 we've been using that 10-12 years ago. Back then it worked with around 50% realiability: surprisely can delete whole base (especially with fast purifying flames) but defenseless against AA if it's pulled out at proper time.
This game is so old but I would argue it looks and plays better than most newer RTSs. I wish somebody would make another game like this but better or even remaster this game but properly do it. Not just graphics but overall gameplay and anything else that needs it
It came out at just the right time and with a good design and aesthetic that still work 15 years later. Masterleaf's 4K texture pack helps quite a bit as well.
Tempest rising might be the new game that can satisfy us.
Love the fact that the UI of Leafy changed from GDI to NOD after that MCV capture, that's some nice attention to details.

For some reason your casts showed up in my RUclips whatever it is called and i tuned in. This whole C&C3 casting sent me on a massive trip down memory lane making me install the first 3 tiberium RTS games and getting to experience them again. great stuff and i hope this keeps going.
PS: totally suck at these games because my reaction times are similar to a bag of cement but love watching more talented players

The commando bombing the MVC but glitched was hilarious! She still got promoted for it as well.
lmao....the commando bombs the MCV as it packs up...like right on time...and BOTH the animations take place.... but so.. apparently...the outcome that it packed up won the manifestation...weird
What a game, I had been wondering what the thumbnail text meant. Leaf was also hyping up this game in his latest video on his channel, and it definitely didn't disappoint. Thanks for the great cast!

Watching this on my lunch break, this game was insanity. Fun to see.
Your casting made me download C&C3 and Kanes Wrath and I'm having a blast getting back into this style of RTS. Quick question for someone just jumping in ... where do you get the new maps that aren't with the standard game? I'd love to play some skirmishes on them.

Firstly I thought "why there's nod vs nod on preview if there's gdi in video name". Now I think why not name it masterleaf(GDNOD)
So that’s how GDI planted Brother Marcion and nearly wiped out Nod.
Imagine having to explain yourself to your surperior and tell them how you sold your own arsenal to capture Nod's
I used to play so much damn command & conquer back in the day, and watching these matches is just a joy for my eyes

How does your game runs at 60 fps and animations don't look 2x speed? Are you running the game at half speed with 60 fps to achieve that? I would really like to have mine run as smooth as this.

ML never disappoints on entertainment values. He needs his own 🏆 for that and the fact he created the best version of KW with his 4k, he should be knighted ffs imo 😂👏👏👏👏 also sybert for best caster 🏆

How do you get real-time player income?
There's a script that writes it to a text file from the replay file and then OBS reads that text file and I capture the income as I'm casting and then combine everything in the edit.

I don't understand how did rex survive there at the beginning if he lost his main building for construction? How was he able to keep building things?
I mention that he rebuilt it at 4:06, so he was only without an MCV for 1 minute.

Stupid question probably, but what does laser fencing do aside from protecting your buildings from being capped?
+def. good for fortifying a specific structure that you wanna keep in the long run, or when you wanna add bonus armor to your mcv while it's on the front lines.
also, nod and gdi commandos can't c4 it.*
it gives a massive armor buff, making them take only 50% damage, so they are a lot harder to destroy. Although in this player patch it has been nerfed so it will disappear if a building takes 33% of its health in damage, and cannot be used on buildings

i just realized i think he DID sell the GDI MCV...but what i mean is.... he should kept the nod MCV and used it to camp the enemy field...game over if he kept the pressure on with the orcas as well

i am wondering, are shadow team useful in a hammerhead? afaik they have the highest anti-infantry dps so while they don't add utility they make hammerhead mow through infantry... sadly i only bought tib wars yet so i can't test anything
