EXCELENTE TRABAJO Magnus Skovrand Y GRACIAS POR EL AMOR QUE MANIFIESTAS ANTE EQUIPOS ELECTRONICOS QUE JAMAS SE FABRICARAN EN EL FUTURO...SON OBRAS DE ARTE...
I’ve been watching your tutorials since I’ve recently purchased off fleaBay my Toshiba XR-W90A which is a rebadge variant of some model Pioneer. The closest model I can find is the CLD-D703 & 704. Your vids are so detailed I feel I almost have everything I need on your channel to tackle about anything. I keep forgetting to get to order gear grease. Can you suggest a supplier?
Hello Magnus, I hope all is well with you. I wish you could advise me on repair the loading part of HLD-x9. I bought a used one and the tray is broken. After I repaired the tray, it keeps damage it. I think the load gear having timing issue. I can see there is arrow on the two cam gears. How can I set it? Please please please help.
Have you tried the service manual and does it load and unload normally without the tray?: manuals.lddb.com/LD_Players/Pioneer/HLD/HLD-X9/HLD-X9-JP_Service_Manual_Scan.pdf
@@Magnus.SkovrandI see, I wish I could find someone like you who can help restore some of my players that no longer works but I’m in Malaysia which is rare to find quality technicians except for a few.
Is this something you offer as a service or is this player for sale? I am looking to buy that exact player for my muse collection but all the sub $1k players seem to have tray or other issues.
This player is not mine, it was repaired for a customer. Usually I buy defective LaserDisc players, repair them and sell them. I take on repair jobs for others if I have time. There are starting to be quite a few requests for this.
Saved another one. Fabulous work !

The motor in my CLD-D704 seems to have died. I don’t know where to turn
Which motor? Spindle motor or loading motor? Replace it?

@@Magnus.SkovrandThanks for replying. It will load if I move the black lever.
@@alanwong3980 What part of the tray is being damaged?
Your HLD-x9 seemed to have its drawer replaced because the original one doesn’t have tray for CD.
It’s not my player. But yes, it is not original drawer.
