Hello, I can certainly understand your concerns about how the fibroids affected your pregnancy. They do not commonly affect pregnancy in this way (i.e. causing birth defects); but of course, you must discuss this with your doctor given they will be in a better position to know the nature/ size and type of fibroids and any possible impact on your pregnancy.

My doc thinks my pain was caused by degeneration because of my elevated white blood cells. On top of paracetamol, she also gave me some progesterone to take daily. Any thoughts on whether or not the latter is effective?
Hi, thanks for your comment - Progesterone is also known as the pregnancy hormone, and when you are pregnant, your body keeps on making the hormone to support the baby as it grows. Likely, your Dr is trying to ensure the baby's growth continues smoothly with Progesterone, but I'd suggest speaking with them further to discuss their specific goals for your care. A doctor saw a subserosal another gynecologist saw an intramural fibroid. So I m a bit confused but if I understood you well even these last two kinds off fibroids can cause complications.especially after delivery..? Thanks so much
