Great videos! It is exactly what I was looking for as a beginner! I have been looking for immersive Chinese videos and haven't found anything like this on RUclips yet! I am currently HSK1/HSK2 Mandarin, and I am mostly learning in classroom... I also go with my daughter to Mandarin singing class where we sing easy children songs and the teacher speaks very slowly, very simple language (as she has to speaking to kids), with a lot of gestures only in Chinese. I am learning so much more from that singing class than from my own course! And for adults it is virtually impossible to find similar learning experience - so surprising as this is the way language acquisition works! Please continue making those videos, they are great, especially beginner ones as it is beginners who struggle most to find content they can understand. Thanks again! 🙏

I just decided to learn Chinese because I want to be able to understand and speak with people around me. I’ve heard quite a bit of Cantonese in my childhood, but mostly that has been replaced with Mandarin speakers. My very first cooking experience was our sweet neighbor who taught me how to make won ton when I was only 4, I have never ever forgotten her and the time we spent. After learning Spanish for the same reason, I know what I need from lessons and this is exactly it - real world people speaking. I’ve tried a popular learning app just to get started and it’s very good for getting used to practicing and seeing patterns repeat but it’s so robotic compared to a real video like this. I hope you can include more music like that street performer in future videos, it was very nice and music is so good for learning.
