What an adventure. At 74 I’m convinced I can do it. Obligations change along with opportunity. Adventure hunting has given way to care giving for my loving wife with dementia Alzheimer disease. Take advantage while you can and always be thankful.

Great hunt! I shot a 62" bull up there twenty years ago, we packed him for four hard days. I've shot Shiras moose in MT and thought they were big but don't even compare to the Alaskan boys

What great moose! Very handy to have oll those waterways to float. Also a great tool for judging sixe is having a scope with a mil retical, I've used it a few times to judge size 5 mil wide at 300 years equals 54" easy mil and moa calculator is a good ap

I love the stare from a bull moose, they seem to just look straight through you. The float hunt I did last season I got to watch two good bulls duke it out for a couple hours before I killed one of them.

My 16 year old son dream hunt is to hunt moose. Most likely if I ever get to take him it will be a dyi in Alaska. Agreed. Chris threaded the shot right in there. Not a shot I’d feel comfortable with-I need to practice more for that.
May I suggest a GoPro for 2 reasons? 1. To capture some rad footage of the rafting shots from a chest mount perspective and 2. In case Ryan needs to capture a Grizzly ambush on the canal. I can’t believe moose get bigger than this, congrats guys!

This is true Alaska Bush hunting in the last frontier! I lived, loved and hunted for 30 years before moving in Fall of 2021. While not every hunt was successful, it was the sheer joy and awe of being in such amazing country that not many humans will ever see is an experience & a memory I will cherish forever!
I’m a 71 year old grandma and really enjoyed the video of killing and packing the big old moose. Great job of commentating and video. Great job had by all. So glad there are still men like you guys with hunting in their blood. We may need the old ways in the future and I’m glad you are around to maybe teach the younger guys how it’s done. Thanks! 25 years ago I went to Alaska and worked with Coke Wallace out of Healy Alaska. Dude is a legend. We went after brown bear out of anchorage, and doll sheep and moose later that same year. This video took me back. Great stuff, keep up the great work!!!

I've hunted and taken quite a few Moose over the years. The biggest I've taken myself was 53.5 inches wide. I guided hunters for 21 years and only twice was I lucky enough to have the use of a boat to get everything back to camp.
So your saying we got really really lucky😂

I’ve been watching this series with my 1.5 year old daughter each Sunday. Last week I taught her that the animal she was seeing was a caribou. This episode when the moose showed up on screen, she stood up, pointed and said “car-boo”. 😂. Entertainment and Educational for all ages.
