Tell Eomma to take calcium supplements. Her doctor should also advise her what she should eat. Maybe drink milk, cheese, or yogurt. I think potassium is also supposed to help that but I’m not sure.
Calcium, and only calcium, really for the osteoporosis. It's a reduction in the bone density. My father had it in a very bad way which was probably due to his high alcohol intake and too many hangovers which dehydrate the body (and bones) repeatedly. Silly thing is he was a complete hypochondriac and his close friends were surgeons and pharmacologists. He took that many vitamins and supplements he would rattle like a jar full of beans, but, stupidly, he never drank mild or took any kind of calcium tablet. It tends to be a hereditary issue, so, among my siblings we have osteopenia which is pre-osteoporosis. As long as your mother increases her calcium intake it may not result in long terms issues. A nice bag like will certainly keep her feeling and young and healthy, I'm sure.
