  • I can't say this has happened before. And if it has, it's been many years. Worth being up at 2am for. Enjoy a bonus clip of CPKC 255, of which departed before T004 as well.
Context as I wrote on Facebook:
T004 made it as far as Galewood Yard in their usual twilight window early on the 23rd, but were forced to tie up there due to the BRC mainline being shut down. A BNSF intermodal move hit the bridge that carries the BRC mains over their trackage, shutting down the northern portion of the BRC for somewhere roughly in the range of 36-40 hours.
On the evening of the 23rd, they would recrew the train, operating with a seemingly a WSOR crew and CPKC pilot crew. They ran around their train in Galewood Yard, then headed west into Bensenville Yard to run around the train again, where they would end up departing east to B-12 and onto the IHB mainline to Argo, where they could access the BRC.
With the circumstances given, they chose not to run another T004 down this night, and T001 was unable to run due to there being no WSOR units in Clearing to be used until this set arrived. I am willing to think that was part of the rationale for this move, seeing as the BRC typically wants WSOR's cut pulled nightly. Thankfully, the BRC mainline would partially reopen roughly mid afternoon on the 24th.

    T004: WAMX 6027, WAMX 6022, WAMX 6030
