I agree. This looks cool but storybook vale lacks the awesome machines that we got in the other dlc. I just earned enough storybook magic to unlock the 2 expensive areas so from here I think I only need storybook magic for crafting a few items
Hi Serroh! Could you make a video breaking down how the villager buddy system works? Like how many villagers need to be a fishing buddy to get extra things to drop, and how much you get, etc. I’ve heard the amount of villagers you have for each thing matters, but I am confused on exactly what it does or how to do it. I think a breakdown for other players would be awesome too! 😊
There is for sure an existing video about this (I think predating snippets, but post timebending), from multiple creators. Not sure I can drop links in the comments, but I'll see if I can find (or you can go find one or two - I'd start with Serroh then maybe head to Probably Senpai, but tbh that is selling short other creators who also have them)
Yes the more villagers you have assigned to a specific job the more you get like I have all time benders so get massive amount of mist and fragments each drop
How many do you need to be changed into snippet catcher to get them to throw out so many? Is it all or would be enough with like 10? Cause then you could have 10 for snippets and 10 for eternity island-thing and so on…?
What's interesting is when you raised timebenders you yourself would get more when timebending. Seeing with this, you personally only get one snippet and the rest came from Timon. If it followed the timebending rule then you would be getting more than one before being given the extra from a companion. (Did that make sense at all?) I am going to change some of my timebenders to this but NOT every character I didn't change all mine over to timebending either but enough that it was worth it. Now go to SLEEP!!!!! (mom says so!)

Did you know they took the lure traps that you place in the valley? I had mine on the beach when I went to put them back, they said I can’t place them there.
The ONLY exception to this role I believe is Ariel, who had a brief couple of hours to be changed to a Fisherman before they patched it up. I only know of one other person online who thought of using the Fishing book the MOMENT she got her legs 🧜🏻♀️🐟
the way it works it to to the power 5 villager is one extra 15 villagers 4 extra stage 2 squared stage 3 is 25 villages 3 sqaured which is 9 stage four is 16 stage 5 is 25 stage 6 is 36 so when we get more than 67 villagers it will be stage 7 so youll get 20 percent chance of 49 20 percent and 77 villager will be 20 percent changes of getting 64 items do you understand how it works
I've always had my characters the same roll, works with fish, gardening etc. I made 20 million by harvesting 1300 pumkins, I got a lot of 25 of each pumkin😅
Hey. Maybe you can help. I am doing the Pumba quest down to earth. And I placed the Merlin’s extra telescope on the floating island and now I can’t retrieve it. The quest won’t complete and I can’t get the telescope off the island now. Any advice?
For science you say 😂😂😂... now my question is what would i even do with all of that story book magic i have already completed the star path, the story line and all friendship quests.... is there a secret i am missing?! 😂😂
I'm wondering the same thing, I know the craftables use Storybook magic but.... that's all we need it for now. Mist pays for automation and that's far more valuable to me. Please let us know the secret Serroh lol, what am I missing
@DisneyDreamlightvAlli right.. and since I'm out of content , and I still spend 12 hours a day in game I'm constantly doing the dailies so I'm still getting mist, dreamlight and story magic every day... but it seems rather useless (apart from the drealight)
I’m confused/ a lil upset that my lure got removed from my plaza and has disappeared. I get why they don’t want us to have white snippet farms, but my lures just..vanished they aren’t in my storage or anything. has anyone else had this problem?
mine also were gone the first time I had the game open! I couldn't even find it by searching "trap" in furniture. The second time I had the game open it fixed itself though so hopefully it does the same for you. We can still put slow traps in the valley though to make the white birds slower/easier to spot at least
I truly love this game but it is getting more difficult to get past the issues. Taking away the lures. My flowers never populate in Elysian Fields. My SP duties are always stacked together. At least 2/3 errors every session. Please Devs. Fix issues.

I know I never knew depending on the number of villagers you have selected at a skill, the better the outcome of rare or extra items you get.

Around 10 would give a decent amount not as much as in this video but alot more then normal
10-20 would give plenty

Just the new manual task. It will replace the role you chose for them before.

I would place 10 of those traps in the main valley then you can get white birds and trade for what you want at the crafting table

Mine disappeared from my beach but ended up in my inventory. I believe they were under "Misc"????
