Catching BIG TROUT while Fishing Shaw's Bridge Park and The West Branch of the Brandywine Creek

I took a trip out to Shaw's Bridge Park in West Chester, Chester County, PA to fish the Brandywine Creek and the West Branch of the Brandywine Creek. In this video I use numerous lures (Trout Magnet, Strike King Bitsy Minnow, Bobby Garland Baby Shad Swim'R & Panther Martin) to have a great day of multi-species fishing. I ended up catching fallfish, bluegill, redbreast sunfish, spotted bass, largemouth bass, rock bass, smallmouth bass and a big rainbow trout.

The state does not stock that stretch. There is a private club that stocks trophy trout about a mile upstream from where you caught the rainbow. I used to be a member and the average size was 20 inches. Browns, rainbows and goldies. People have caught them as far down Chad’s Ford. I caught a 28 inch brownie when I was in the club. It was unreal. I’m Delco born and raised. You got yourself a new subscriber!

I have fished at Shaw park but never catch anything there. I went there a couple of days ago and the water was higher than normal.

Thank you sir! Other than that big trout I didn't get on any other big fish but it showed potential. I think if I tried again in a month or two I would get on some nice bass.
