A tour of my childhood home in Avebury and a look round my families English country house

- Now that you've seen where I currently live and my current home now that I am an adult (I can't really believe that myself sometimes!) I thought it would be fun to show you two of the rooms at my parents beautiful home (Mum and Dad are currently sorting some antiques out and said I could only show you these rooms but more in the summer). We are also going to go on a walk round Avebury and look at the stone circle.
I wonder if you would be interested in a full video of Avebury stone circle and a tour of the stones. The house my parents live in is the only house in the world in the middle of a stone circle that you can see from every part of the house. It was amazing growing up here and I cannot begin to tell you how wonderful it was having a childhood here.
The Avebury complex is one of the principal ceremonial sites of Neolithic Britain that we can visit today. It was built and altered over many centuries from about 2850 BC until about 2200 BC and is one of the largest, and undoubtedly the most complex, of Britain's surviving Neolithic henge monuments. (from English Heritage).
Avebury itself is managed by the National Trust and much of the village and houses are as well. Jon and I actually tried to buy an old cottage in the village two years ago (before we bought our now cottage) but sadly got outbid!
Please note that I did not tidy any of the rooms as usual (they are as they are lived in) and so what you see is authentic and as real as possible).
Thank you so much for visiting my home...

What a lovely home to grow up in, happy memories ❤
Thank you 🙏
So pleased you have happy memories growing up here. It was kind of your parents to let you film their home to show us and I look forward to seeing more perhaps in the summer. Please thank them. The village is so pretty. I live in the Norfolk Broads and it was flooded here just like in Avebury and some of the villages here are still dealing with high water levels. Seeing more of the Avebury Stones would be great if you have time to do so at some point. Sophie.
Hi Sophie, thank you so much for your kind message and I hugely appreciate it ❤.
Of course, I would love to film the village properly and do a tour. I’ve been a little nervous truth be told as I know my filming can be shaky, so I’m slowly making my way up to a proper tour of the village and stones as it’s a bit of a walk!
You’re also very welcome, they’re very pleased to hear the kind words ❤
Thank you for sharing your parents' home. I look forward to seeing the rest of it. It's lovely. It would be amazing to see all of the Avebury Stone Circle and to learn more about it.
You are so welcome!
My daughter Daisy and I stayed in your parents house when visiting Avebury for her 16th birthday. We had a wonderful stay

The entire area looks so refreshing and beautiful with natures magical little things.
I wonder if there are fishes in those water areas?
