@@Ethan10_46 Sorry took forever to respond, assuming you got answers by now, but if not; its just anime fighter notation for directions, if you look up 'anime fighter notation' you'll see what I mean. Each direction is assigned a number on a standard number pad, so like 6 is typically forward, 4 is backward, 2 is down, etc. So 'j.236S' is just a quicker way to write 'jumping quarter circle special' or 'jdown,downforward,forward S'
@@storm_king29 delay the 236L part as much as u can; basically right before it drops and the jM can be mashed pretty sure - I just use the practical route because of how tricky I find it as well😅
Hmmmm quick assists with his ex rocket kick helps, or tracking assists to confirm his DP - or just basic universal stuff… depends how you want to play him
dang this game. Id love to get in to it but it's too tedious to master combos for 3 characters. Trunks alone took me like 24 hours and i cant even land it against a live opponent. Tekken didnt took me that long to have fun and learn about the deeper mechanics of the game.
@@cleangoblin2021 yea it can take a while but once you get a simple BnB it’s the same for everyone! (Besides some endings) It feels hella good once u start getting them to land in game but to get there takes a bit of grind I feel you😭 on top of having neutral, movement, defence, pressure etc to master… but that’s what I love about it, all the depth, skills and precision
idk if its just my brain but mortal kombat combo button explanations are much more understandable why do yaw just all these extra number n what not dbfu 1234 is all you need

Idk MK notations, but diff games have diff languages and I find dbfz very simple/self-explanatory - maybe bc that’s what I learned first?
Number pad notation. Pretty simple to understand tbh. Essentially the numbers are the path your stick would take for combos
