👭Feminists in Movement: Sri Lanka Webinar

After several months of intense work, we are delighted to present the results of the study that the FON Project conducted in 10 countries: "Analytical Mapping of Feminist Civil Society Organizations Working in Gender-Based Violence."
The main objectives of this study were to:
📚 Improve our knowledge of the feminist civil society organizations (CSOs) and networks that fight against GBV, their specificities, needs, challenges, and demands, as well as their allies and opponents.
🌍 Enhance our understanding of the context in which these organizations operate, including factors that serve as barriers or opportunities to their work.
🎥We organized presentation webinars for each country, and we are pleased to share the recording for the Sri Lanka edition with you. The session provided valuable insights into critical issues surrounding gender inequality, the prevalence of gender-based violence (GBV), legal and political frameworks addressing GBV, and the analytical mapping of feminist CSOs in Sri Lanka.
