I have a 1989 no mint mark double die front and reverse doubling on the word one doubling on the date and extreme doubling on the word Liberty and you can also see part of the Liberty Lincoln's head on the reverse side coming through

Awesome video, lots of info. After they took out most of the copper after 1982, the coins do not hold as well, and the sharpness of the coins are lost too👍😊👍😊

I have about 3 different 1989 error coins, all cent coins. But one is missing the IB in LIBERTY. All in all they were graded, and came back as not errors, just PMD.

Wanted to ask you ibought a bag of pennies on ebay sealed thar was from coin star In Pennsylvania and while going through them I found a 1989 that is heads on both sides with date on both sides and I took a digital micrometer and gauged it on the head , behind head and on date and everything is exact same as other 1989 pennies I have I even checked diameter and it’s same so could you tell me where to take it to have lt checked I have a video posted on TikTok if you’re wanting ti view it let me know please ! Even looked at it under microscope it looks mint it has ware you can tell it has been pocket change before
I'd love to see it! Often things like that are done by some guy in a shop but you never know. I've found errors that aren't YET recognized by PCGS etc. Try to find markings that may've been a vice for someone to have filed it out.
Greese filled died, actually goes against the grading of it, so if it's not in top shape which is bright engine red, without out any carbon spots, nicks, scratches, or dings, basically looks like it was minted yesterday than it's worth more than it's purchasing power of one cent but only after it's been graded and slabbed but if looks just barely used, like it was minted a week ago it's only worth one cent, in essence if it looks flawless with barely there letters on any given word or numbers which is referred to as devices, than it's normally going to effect the grading in a negative manner, so to wrap this up, it's not special or valuable because of that

That 1989 reverse forward and backwards also is in uncirculated condition
So have you seen a 89d that Is doubled on the date and Liberty and you do not need magnification at all to see it
