1- U need to understand that Ur Photo have no profile tagged ( untagged RGB ) U need to assign a profile to it or convert to Adobe RGB or sRGB This is very important because Printers and not even web can’t deal with untagged photo profile it’s always going to give U the colors wrong 2 - this option it’s very important but not mentioned on any videos or not even epson Guides “Change the color mode from epson vivid to Adobe RGB with 2.2 gamma and that will help U print the colors as U see them On Ur monitor that if Ur monitor is calibrated correctly , Good luck
Hey everyone- simple fix to my issue I hope this helps: For anyone who cant find this specific dialogue box, make sure you select the ET-8550 Series (NETWORK). If you select properties without *NETWORK* it does not come up. If this helped please like so other people can see!
Hey, I am printing on my epson 8550 and I have a macbook air but I don't have the print settings option at all. Do you know where I can find my print settings? Thank you in advance! 🙂
At least in the main Epson printer software when I tried to use the Builtin ICC profile that was terrible just as you describe. In that software I leave on Printer manage color and everything look great. I might have missed something but as i said in the above comment what software is she using.
Hi there! I'm having issues with my red looking like Magenta. I did what you suggested but instead of purple I chose red and still not coming out right. do you have any other suggestions?
Are there recommended settings for the sliders? Seems crazy that anyone would need to adjust individually for each image on such an expensive printer (I have the 5150)
It has its factory settings, not "suggested" settings. So you can reset the settings to what they were originally. I don't have to adjust the sliders for every single image. I just do it on images where I have a ton of like 1 color. But also, if you let Photoshop be the one to determine the quality in the pring settings, it usually comes out more accurate.
@@AdrianasPaperCraftsthanks for your reply. I guess I meant, is there a certain way you leave your sliders 99% of the time to produce decent results? I'm using just Windows to print images (no Photoshop or other programs) and every photo is turning out extremely dark and blue. People online have said that Windows + the printer might be applying some kind of correction at the same time which is messing itself up but I literally have no clue where I'd find those settings. I've tried contacting Epson but no luck 😬
I am having the same problem. I don't have the same print settings box that you do. I am printing through Adobe Photoshop. My blue on my image is a lite blue and when it prints out it is very dark blue. Please help
It is possible to print DTF from Inkscape to an ET 8550? Is so, how do I configurate the printer wwcymk order in Inkscape. So completely lost here (new to DTF)
Check to see of when you go to print, if 2 Canon Epson printer options come up. There are always 2 options for me, and I have to pick the one that says "Network" next to it.
I have converted my epson 8550 and my teal color turns out dark blue i cant seem to fix this. Thanks! Do you mean that we should connect the printer by USB instead of using wireless?
@@lahlahme No, it's in the dialogue box on the screen. The drop down menu, where you click and choose which printer you want to use. :)
Thank you SO much, I've been going round in circles trying to find this dialogue box!
