Very cute book, Maia! The images are quite relaxing in compare with some intriguing ones that we go through. Ayee, I've got 2 more japonese books, The desert Fox and the new Aeppol's 4 seasons. - lol - When I color in Japanese books, I cover the painted page to keep it clean and for not be influenced. But I think they are great for beginners; it helps to develop shading skills. 💞

In fact, Coloring with Alena one of the best channels here on youtube said the same thing and i commented on one of her videos where she mentioned that telling her that i felt the same way and she actually wrote me back and said how much she agrees lol and she never replies to comments lol so she must have felt strongly about that haha!! Maia hav you checked out the Korean coloring books? Adele In The Forest? Guardian Fairies In The Wonder Garden? They have those pages that you hate however they beautiful

Hi Maia, have you ever use mod podge as fixative? I have tried diluted white glue over soft pastel and it looks fine and does fix the colour. Still not brave enough to do it on the colouring books yet 😅, hope to hear your opinion about this method
Hi Zoe! Yes i have and i do not recommend using mod podge in coloring books at all because it can stick to the other side and rip your pages ! Hope that helps! Lots of people use it but ive had bad experiences with it so I don’t, it may also depend on the climate you live in, i live in a warmer climate so mod podge can get sticky

Guess i shall not try as Malaysia is hot weather all the time 🥵..the mod podge can still get sticky even dried completely? Was that what you've experience?
