Hey mate building a "small" tank of my own hoping to get a few more vids up soon ...cool lil project u have ...mine is slightly larger and alot more complex lol but will be used for off-road exploring
Check out how a race mower clutch system works, how you have got your belt is a little backwards. I am in omokoroa if you want a close up. Or "Bazz's Garage" has a good example. You do some interesting stuff, keep it up.
We do them two ways, single flat roller pushing belt inwards to engage, belt guides to stop belt falling off, or double which one pushes out and one in. How can I send you a couple of pictures.
awesome mini tank. That's brilliant. Are you up for a sponsorship? We are looking for cool content creators like you to work with. Hipa supply parts for small engines.
@@DktheWelder I liked the cool surname that you have. And I even recognized you in some other creators comment section. Kind of like Colin Furze! But it's not a big deal :) Will you ever make another buggy/crosskart?
@@OversteerEngineer I’m not sure there are so many people making them and I’m not interested in doing the same thing over and over . I do have an idea for a really light 4x4 mini cross kart but will have to see👍
Glad to see I’m not the only one who welds in flip flops 💪
Yeah it’s pretty safe really just have to be ready to kick them off quickly!
Nice. It's gettin there. Going to be good.
I hit the like button before watching.
Thanks 👍
another tank builder :) more tanks for the people !!
always exited when Dan uploads
That bracket on the clutch pulley is only there to prevent the belt falling off when the tension is released. Great video as always 👍
Thanks yeah I thought that might be the case I have made it the same as it was on the mower but maybe the thicker belt is just more grippy
@@DktheWelder
It was a brake on the old bolens mower
Awesome. And please keep it up.
Cool build
So cool can’t wait to see it finished
Cool project 👏
Thanks 👍
I really enjoy your content as of late man. Good stuff

I copied how it was on the mower it does seem backwards to me I think a flat roller on the back side would be better. Thanks I will check it out

@@DktheWelder Oh yes vonn donn 1st .....
wery good guy, should be... engineer.
lookin good, not long now until its all done,u goin to put some mesh around the motor so no one gets burnt when they sit at the back?
Yes. It would also stop long hair getting caught in the motor 👍
V prep?
I was just walking thick hot dipped zinc to greasy black tube without even wiping it down.
Good

That sounds great as you can probably tell I’m really into small engines! Here’s my email dkthewelder@gmail.com
I've already thought of what your next project should be! A hovercraft! hey? eh? what do ya think?
I have been thinking of a hovercraft haha!
Hahahaha
👌👍

Haha, love the subliminal messaging
Lumpy cam!
Excellent work using scrap material. Tired of seeing RUclipsrs take a "junk mower" and then spend 8k in materials to make something different.
They always end up building a whole frame and pretty much just keep the original bonnet haha
TONK
Tonk, tank made by tonka!
@@DktheWelder if you get a chance look up the tonk, its a ww2 monument but it kinda looks like your tank
@@Sillyzombie666 I just had a look ! Pretty cool maybe I should call it the Tonk
Noo you changed the channel name
I just think my name is way too hard to pronounce and search for
