A site dedicated to looking at the Football management game/sim genre, but specifically the titles that were crushed under the might of Championship Manager/Football Manager.
First up I have my 'opening 25' look at LMA manager 2004, for the OG Xbox.
Feel free to comment/abuse away in the chat, hopefully these will get slicker as I do on, and already made a note to raise the game volume and adjust the close up camera, so it's less damning of my nose!

I absolutely love the LMA games, if I live to 100 I will still be playing them. The nostalgia trip is just phenomenal.
Yeah despite not having played many of these it is enjoyable as an older games fan/ footy fan to go back and see the bygone players! Do you have a favourite LMA game?

@@johneastwood30392002, 2004, 2006, 2007 are all great. I might have to get a PS1 Emulator and play 02 again.
I won the Champions league with the now extinct Rushden and Diamonds. The problem was I built a 60,000 seat Stadium and still only 3k people showed up to see me beat AC Milan, Real Madrid etc.

I originally come from near there and so am convinced that is actually accurate as they were a fake club with fake fans! :) Great effort though. R&D are back now though in real life, they reformed as AFC Rushden & Diamonds and were about tier 10 last I checked.
Never finished this series due to work getting in the way but was winning pretty consistently winning when I was making the other parts so think it was on the fun side of management games rather than being too punishing.
