While I wouldn't use this as a permanent solution, this saved me some time migrating from 6.7 Essentials Plus to 7.0 Enterprise Plus for a customer. The license for Essentials Plus can't be used on 7.0 VCSA. You can install it, but it's not valid. I only needed full functionality for a few weeks as I migrated to the new VCSA and upgraded to 7.0. I didn't want to re-install ESXi 6.7 so MANY thanks for this! 👍
