Frame Generation is bugged and makes the game crash. Had to use DLSS Quality because the game often runs at less than 50 FPS when using 4K DLAA, at times less than 40. 0:40 : Settings
This is like Jedi Survivor's use of DLSS, which basically is, might as well not even be there. Also, I swear Frame Generation generates *fewer* frames.
I am also very much CPU bound on this weirdly optimized game. Guess I will stick with DLSS Quality on my 4090 as I cant tell much diff. between native 4K res anyways. Game looks outdated at times but also creepy and man whats with the stutter in cutscenese. This game needs mods help fast!
@@FrozburnYT That's a shame. I think the problem with some horror video games nowadays is they lack a proper storyline to immere the player and keep them on edge. And sometimes, they rely too much on the same tactics to scare players, and then it becomes too predictable. A proper horror video game needs to have the right setting, a good storyline, a lot of unknowns and be unpredictable. Those are a few key aspects to a successful horror video game.
G.I. Speed has no difference FPS-wise when set to Very Slow or Fast. I can't tell what it really does, so I just left it at the default (Medium). There's no Ultra setting. The 4090 can handle next-gen games, but the problem is that there are far too many rushed games nowadays. The optimization is not good at all, and it looks outdated at the same time. Even the 5090 would struggle here (when using 4K DLAA)
@@danielegiangregorio4183 What's not true? I already mentioned the Fast setting. I tried all G.I settings and it made no difference in the FPS (even while looking at some lamp / light source) so I left it at the default.

And you haven't maxed the game...
Ryzen 9 7950X3D (CCD 2 disabled - SMT Off) RTX 4090, je fais tourner le jeu full setting + RT avec DLSS Qualité à plus de 100 fps. Un régal !

The Frame Gen didn't seem to do anything for me + it crashes, I think it's very bugged at the moment. Maybe the game has to be restarted?

Something is wrong with the DLSS implementation.
DLSS Quality + FG I get like around 50-70 fps.
FSR3 Quality + FG More than 100 fps.
I have yet to try FSR. I'll check it out, thanks.
Did you oc your gpu? :)
Yeah, it's overclocked. Can go higher but I just keep it a bit lower to avoid issues in any game.
Is this a horror video game?
Yeah. People are saying it's not scary enough compared to some other games.

These aren't max settings. G.I. Speed setting is lowered down. 4090 can't handle next gen games.

@@FrozburnYT There are 20 FPS less with G.I. set on Fast.
@@danielegiangregorio4183 What GPU is that? I get a 1 FPS loss.
