- My first time fighting Collector! I have a lot of experience fighting him in DD1, so I was curious how the plays out in the sequel. Mechanics are largely the same but obviously improved to fit the new token system. Other than that he feels similar to his previous incarnation, where if you have a bad team or he catches you at the wrong time and it can go really bad. Love it!

I love how much combo utilization collector has with his heads. The combo token is basically his head.
Dating back to DD1, that frantic slamming his skull against the head cage makes me think he's unwillingly bound to his role, and fighting fruitlessly to regain control of his actions.
I'm really sad there's no collected runaway with Hothead

Had a sustain team with Poet, Sergeant, Virtuoso and Maniac and was perfectly prepared for Exemplar & FF when this guy pops up right before Oblivion's Rampart, perma respawns ordained heads and absolutely demolishes my party. Dunno why but I stood ZERO chance. Wasn't even my first encounter with him... guy hit harder than every confession boss. Felt weirdly unfair.
Glad i can finaly give Barristan his head back.
Seems like Red Hook balanced out the piwer of the heads, and honestly i like it. Altough i would like it if Highwayman could do something more. Like giving himself crit tokens. Altough it would be a nightmare it would be fitting.
It's like he looks at you when you open his move list
I remember in dd1 I lost my bounty hunter as he was hit by a first head hunter which crit for like 50 bringing my character to deaths door followed by another headhunter killing my bounty hunter in the next turn.
Oh man i wanted to see him in a normal vod, like a surprise but this is fine, i absolutely love the way he shows up, god it's so cool

My first collector was ordained. Almost lost 2 of my people. Kept getting crit from headhunt for 20+ and 6 bleed
I just bought this today played about 5 hours had a lot of fun. I happened to run into the collector on my very first run ever played and got smoked.
Would focusing down the Vestal be a bad play? She seems the most dangerous out of the collected heads to me.

Collector is based on the tale of the King in Yellow. Who knows what kind of background the eldritch abomination could have.

I wanted something fun and different is all. As for carcass itself, since it does no on hit damage you want to use bleeds to help out and run some big damage paths on the rest of the squad to compensate.
What are the requerimients to have the chance to fight him?
The running theory is having a trophy and going to a normal fight

I have a question. Does the shroud fog also applies during death or collector fights?
It does during Death, but it shouldn't during Collector. The trigger are the fisherfolk being present. Death is a 2nd wave of a fisherfolk fight so the fog carries over, but Collector replaces the fight entirely.
They should at least make it so I Don't have to fight collector twice in the same fucking region. I was on second confession btw not 4th or 5th, and didn't have even half the items unlocked

I didn't hear it or see it and I thanked him 2 minutes after when I did see it. I always thank everyone personally for their support, so don't lob accusations that I'm entitled just because I was late on something 7 hours into a stream when the new hype content appeared at the same time.
