Pune traffic police have imposed a temporary ban on heavy vehicle entry at 30 logjam-prone spots across the city to alleviate traffic congestion caused by heavy rains and poor road conditions. The ban will be in effect from 9 AM to 10 PM daily until August 12.
The affected areas are:

5. Nilayam Bridge (towards Na Si Phadke Chowk)

it is not so easy to have new dams, the existing ones should be improved
Dams can't be built anywhere that easily, only solution is to increase their capacity
Dams are not the solution. Need to have proper drainage system that is environmentally sustainable. This means to have appropriate tree plantations, rain water harvesting. Instead of dam those water if used for rain water harvesting then it will be even better.
@@priyojeetchowdhary Imagine building over head tanks to lift and store extra water for future use, or even creating underground tanks to filter and collect rain waters as this will also help in resucing waterlogging in the city

Can you please make a video on the bridge on pavana river from Mamurdi crematorium/ symbiosis college Kiwale to Sangavade which is sanctioned but still not constructed.
Nobody is talking about the quality of roads being made by contractors. Rain is not the reason for bad roads ,its due to compromised quality. It's the biggest scam we are seeing with our open eyes and nobody is talking about that.
Pune city is blessed with natural resources but the people and government don't really take care of it. We drink most of the water coming from this natural reservoirs but the industries are dumping chemical on it. If government plan it properly, we might never need water tankers in Pune. But who cares ???
One day, Pune will also suffer water crisis like Bangalore because we don't maintain natural resources and highly rely on water tankers.
@GunjanShah... Do not forget the Tanker Mafia which operates in collusion with corrupted politicians. Both groups don't want more dams and surplus water flow...

Central government has allocated about 680 crore for river. River bed has become very shallow. Also width has become less in many areas.

PMC created Pune as a PATCH City. They never construct new roads or even never apply bitumin or Concrete end to end while filling potholes on any existing road.
It's always a new patch.😅
All of the City's roads are filled with patch work... Be it Nagar Road, Solapur Road, Baner, Kothrud, Satara Road, Alandi, Airport, Viman Nagar, Balewadi anywhere.... Everywhere it's patches only.
