Thanks. I like this video too. I'm often disappointed with my ability to do performances justice. And although I'm a little distant from the band, overall I think I caught some of the night's magic. Thanks for commenting.
Saw them in Perth many, many years ago. I was into more aggressive music then but they totally opened my mind to the possibilities and appreciation of more melodic songwriting. Discovered at lot of amazing music thanks to the UL. And sorry that they weren't UK based. They would have been (justifiably) huge.
I've only discovered them in the past decade which means I've had lots of albums to slowly familiarise myself with. A great back catalogue. I'll be seeing them again on Friday. Very much looking forward to it. Hopefully, some more video as well. Thanks for commenting.
Wonderful - saw them live a number of times in their heyday and Your Eyes was and always will be a tour de force. Still play Leaves Me Blind. Wish I had been there. Sound and vision great.
This was a great night. The band sounded fantastic, and yes, the lighting was terrific. If you are in Melbourne, Sydney or Brisbane, they will be giving 30th anniversary performances of "Dream It Down" in July/August. It should also be a great night. Thanks for commenting.
Thank you for this. I was meant to be at this gig, but ended up all night at an emergency vet with a very sick dog. (Dog is fine now, so that's good.) Thrilled to be able to experience this gig, even if only by video.
Sorry to hear about the dog. Very glad it's better now. It was a great concert. The band was spot on and the lights and effects were terrific. They played Sydney again two nights ago. I didn't go. But I will see them again when they support Died Pretty in October. That should be another great night. Thanks for commenting.
@@Peter_LiveMusic I did see them on Friday. A different gig, with a modified lineup, much more focused on the electronica material. Still great, and finished with a barnstorming "Your Eyes." I've booked my seat at Died Pretty!
@@michaelharris2101 I'm glad you got to see them. The Lansdowne is very intimate. It should have been good seeing them up close. Of course, there'll be many more at the Enmore. A different atmosphere altogether.

The Underground lovers are a thing of beauty. A shiny emerald in Australian music.
They are indeed. And these occasional performances they give make that shine all the brighter.
Great video 🎉

Was that at the Orient in Fremantle?
@@Gixflix1 The Freezer in if I remember correctly, Plain St East Perth. Long since closed.
Great work capturing the screen and band so well. Fabulous atmosphere. The sound is superb. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks. A most enjoyable night. I am pleased with the results.
