Been a fan since they first emerged and saw them play heroes/Raven/men in black/10 albums, even watched Hugh cornwell sing Golden Brown solo acoustically on the Raven tour before they released it but there comes a time when enough is enough, watching this was like watching my Grandad sing in a really poor club band, he should never have left the Stranglers imo, was too well known to front another Band and people only turn up now, to hear him play a stranglers toon. A mean & angry punk/new wave Band don't look good with the onset of old age, Rock & Roll = YOUTH & ENERGY. Just like old Boxers, they don't know when to stop!! check out the Rattus inheritors tribute band, carrying the music forward. The Stranglers were Brilliant in their Day, but there's only JJ left, Hugh should get back with him before its too late and treat the loyal fans.
