- Back in the prior century, when you still had to call an 800 number in order to get HBO turned on in your house, Philadelphia had its own local pay channel called PRISM. In 1996, central PA's Badlees had just broken out from being the big fish in PA's pond to become a national act with a big time recording contract. PRISM produced this half hour long showcase, live from Lancaster's Chameleon Club. Hopefully this will not be flagged for some copyright issues. I don't own the rights and am not monetizing anything. Just a fan who wants to share with others so inclined.
Give it up for the decades long Chameleon club in Lancaster PA!! A incredibly underrated band that was unbelievable to see live!!
My dad loves the badlees showed me them when I was young now one of my favorites. This was filmed just miles where we lived. I went to this club a lot in my life.
I saw these guys in a small bar in downtown Alb, NM. A DIVE. I remember the tunes and that the drummer had no shoe on.
Special thanks to Brian for allowing me to really get to know the Badlees! been a huge fan since 1995..they are just un believable. Songs with so much heart and depth.
Man, this brings back some great memories! I saw these guys in Greenville, SC in the 1996 time frame. Such a great band! So glad they released a new album at the end of 2022. Now we just need a tour of the east coast so I can see them again. 🙂 Thanks so much for sharing.

Thanks for posting this. I found them to late to see them here even though I lived in Lancaster for 20 year. They will always be my favorite band.
