He has no idea of the power he truly possesses... Mahoraga is insane! What a freaking episode, feels like a season finale, and the animation is at a movie level! We don't know what else to expect from this anime! Part of Shibuya doesn't exist anymore... what will happen to Itadori now?

You can basically think of the markings on his face as having extra lives in a video game. Everytime his life is in danger, one of the markings disappears.
He gets the markings through seeing everyday miracles. The miracles can be anything simple, for example seeing 3:33 on a clock or something like that. But these miracles are erased from the users memories, hence why he believe's he's "lucky" when in reality, it was just his techinque
the way i understood it is is that they arent erased from his memories those everyday miracles just dont happen to him

That's a good way to explain it! It was hard for us to understand the first time, but watching it again while editing helped us understand it better. Like you, we also understood that those miracles were erased from the users memories but maybe we also misunderstood it.
Let's remember that Megumi in the previous season wanted to summon Makora like 2 or 3 times. That is very suicidal on her part.....😅😨
When this episode was broadcast there was controversy because many did not like that the Opening was heard during Itadori's break up. For me it was epic 😱😥

Thanks for letting us know! We didn't realize they were actually wrong. We decided to put Makora because I think that's his name in Japanese, but the Domain Expansion seemed odd to us since in season one it's called Malevolent Shire!
Megumi once wanted to summon Mahoraga but always failed in season 1 for several eps
*To summon a mahoraga, only 2 or more people are required to participate in the summoning ritual
*Mahoraga are wild and difficult to tame, Mahoraga don't even hesitate to kill Ten Shadow users or people who participate in the summoning ritual
*mahoraga ritual will fail if too many people around fill the place for the ritual

Welp, mizushi is like a synonym...it can both mean a shrine or a kitchen....if you have read the manga, you'll know that calling it a kitchen wouldn't be too wrong tho

The word used for it can either mean a shrine or an imperial kitchen
Both make complete sense for Sukuna as a character

Davinci is just like me lol he is such a fan of sukuna that whatever evil he does Davinci is like "Thats cool" lmao. He doesnt care about the boring drama of people dying in shibuya like most reactors start crying about he just wants to see sukuna in action and dont want itadori to return anytime soon. All these things even i can relate to

Also Megumi father didn't awaken his clan hereditary technique nor did he had any Curse energy that's why he was not welcomed by the Zenin clan since those without Curse Technique are deemed worthless so he left his clan and got married and had Megumi...he was planning to sell megumi to Zenin clan since megumi had the clans hereditary technique making him extremely valuable to Zenin clan...but Gojo stopped it after Toji death...
Maki also shares the same fate as Toji since she also doesn't have any Curse Technique thats why she is always talking about getting back at her clan
Fun fact : Toji and Maki are cousins despite their age gap making Megumi and Maki aunt and niece

As we understood from the first episodes of the season, when Toji is dying, he tells Gojo to take care of Megumi. That's also why he feels proud that Megumi is not a Zenin when he sees him before committing suicide.

this is actually only 30% finished! There were scandals at Mappa studios because of the unreasonable deadlines they gave their animators to animate this episode (and some others of s2), but the blu-ray version (finished 100%) is now out, you dont have to react but watch the blue-ray version
also there were some major transalation issues throughout this episode as well. Canon name for Makora is actually "Mahoraga" and Sukuna's domain is "Malevolent Shrine"
