  • Reacting to Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 Episode 18 "Right and Wrong". Why Nanami? After all the fights, you could say he's the one who’s given it his all in this arc so far, and even after having half his body burned and losing an eye, he kept fighting... Nanami is a real hero.

Megumi was about to die anyway due to all the blood loss, that's why he summoned mahoraga as a last fuck you. Yuji is traumatized because saving people is his whole shtick, his grandfather's last request which became a curse on him. He can't even kill transfigured humans coming to kill him, obviously bro is destroyed, him continuing to live with the bomb that is sukuna instead of his immediate execution resulted in that.

Yeah we understand Yuji's trauma perfectly, living through all those deaths knowing they're because of you is definitely something very tough, but he's taken on a lot of weight on his shoulders wanting to believe he can save everyone. It's not a burden he should bear alone, and it's not his fault.

13:49 Yeah, I totally get you. I cried much more than that, as a grown up man.
Only few deaths have made me cry like that.
    *Naruto Spoilers*
Itachi's truth broke me. I cried with audible cries.
But it was not a personal sorrow type thing,
Compared to that Pervy Sage's death was like personal to me, it made me sad that some loved one (Naruto's only loved one) is no more. I grieved Jiraiya's death for days or weeks.
After Jiraiya's death Nanami is the first one to make me feel personal sorrow like that.
Nanami was one of the good ones man. He wasn't your typical anime good guy that is nice for the sake of being a good character (i.e. Tanjiro who will sympathise with a rock just because). Nanami was an example of a real life upstanding good/responsible adult.
Remember Nanami and Itadori's first fight together on the rooftop? He told Yuji to stay behind him not because he thinks he's stronger (like Gojo. Gojo brought Yuji inside of an enemies domain becuase he was confident with him present Yuji had no danger), or because of typical anime friends who will sacrifice their life for the main character after meeting them for the first time because they became friends an hour ago. No, Nanami tells Yuji, it's not that he thinks Yuji is not capable, but because Yuji is a kid, and Nanami is an adult and it's his moral responsibility to protect him. It is such a small detail but defines what kind of a man Nanami is!
and what made his death even sadder is how helpless he is in this fight. He didn't get a hero's exit, a flashy death, no he was weak, he was helpless. Like real life!
He was the most real life like character, and thus the most relatable.
I cried for days after seeing this episode.
    Fuck Bichito!!!!
and since now you know, I urge you to only call Mahito by his real name, Bichito, or else we aren't on the same team.
    Do it, for Nanami!!

Couldn't have explained it better than how you put it. I've mentioned in other comments that what I hate the most is how he died like that, he deserved an epic death but no, he died knowing he couldn't do anything and that's so sad...
      Naruto spoilers
Unlike Jiraya's death, where he dies purposefully to uncover that the real Pain isn't among them, and even though it's painfully sad, it gives meaning to his death. But with Nanami, it was like... he died, and that's it. That's life, and it's tough to face that, which is why I think his death is so impactful.
I loved the reference to Tanjiro and the rock, totally agree lol
P.S. Dario calls him Mohito or Fuckito hahaha

      @@Davinci_and_Bruixa
Yeah, his character and his death both are so like real life, nothing special, just a regular guy who is strong becuase he has the responsibilities on his shoulders, he was so unlike an anime character.
Yeah, I notice he called him Fuckito and I loved it. But to me his true name is Bichito!!! Cuz for all the big talk he's lil b*tch is all he is, runs at the first sight of danger!
and if you have watched the later episodes you already know why he's a pathetic loser.

“it’s not his technique”, bro what are you talking about, it’s his technique except that it’s hereditary, you can take an example from Gojo, it’s the same thing. And then if he summons mahoraga, what are the previous episodes used for then? Megumi is the only one among them all to have a domain, if he didn't they will all be dead (dagon vs megumi reference for the domain) and I can tell you that having people you have to protect and fight with another domain It’s not easy (nose bleed). And running to survive and then getting shot in the stomach by Toji. And then some idiot out of nowhere rips your back. And there's no one to help him, man, it doesn't surprise me that Megumi called Mahoraga, especially since he didn't even have a break. I think you don't want to admit that Megumi is powerful and at a level of Gojo, even stronger than him and Yuji (season 1 episode 23 and season 2 episode 17). Gojo says it himself. (Sorry for my english 😅)

    • @Davinci_and_Bruixa
      @Davinci_and_Bruixa  9 дней назад +1

Of course, he doesn't want to admit that he's so strong! Haha, I think he does it on purpose because he knows he's one of my favorite characters. He's definitely stronger than most of the sorcerers at the school, and I believe, maybe not right now but in the future, that he'll become the strongest of all, just like Gojo or even stronger!
English isn't my first language either, so don't apologize for speaking a language that's not your own, be proud! ❤❤

Aside from the tears, as much as I hate this episode, you gotta give them credit!
They really make the viewer get a taste of what Yuji is going through.
Right after one of the most beloved characters dies one of the saddest deaths, we are thrown into a fight between our beloved kid against the most hated character in the series so far! We got tears in eyes and the fight just takes off and we don't know what to make of it.
Kinda what Yuji is going through.

Here we see Nanami's great commitment as a superior because despite being so hurt he continued to worry about his teammates and the younger ones like Megumi. He also continued fighting until the end when he was able to escape and go to Malaysia that he wanted so much.
    15:27 I don't like to insult, but that's being a s0n of a b*tch 🤬😭 MAHITO!!!!!
A curious fact is that the author of JJK, Gege Akutami, mentioned that his favorite character was Nanami and he did not hesitate to kill him, so what will happen to the rest of the characters......😰
That's why the fans' emblematic phrase was born: You're going to fall GEGE 🤣😢

    • @Davinci_and_Bruixa
      @Davinci_and_Bruixa  9 дней назад

He's a real hero... just starting with the fact that if he hadn't gone back to being a sorcerer, he'd probably still be alive...
15:27 using Junpei like that... man, that really hurt. I still haven't gotten over his death; it was the first one.
Thanks for sharing that cool fact! It's kinda scary though... if he's willing to kill off his favorite character, what's he gonna do with the rest of them..
