MK 1 plays a lot better than 11 did. Most players in 11 depended on Krushing blows in order to get fast wins. Plus a lot of players always went with fighters they know they can get easy wins with. Examples are Sub-Zero, Cetrion, Jacquie Briggs, Cassie Cage, etc. In 11 there was way too much problems to start with anyway. The defense meter worked when it wants to. With 1 I see it more competitive than 11 was
No, Quan Chi's voice actor isnt the same as in MK X. Its a Canadian dude im pretty sure, with Indian roots. You can actually here some influence from languages of his native origin in Quan's "Sorcerer language". Pay attention to when he summons portals and does combos, specifically his back 3, 4
I main with Quan Chi and I kinda enjoyed using him knowing he was at a disadvantage. Haven't played MK1 since he's been buffed but I know my opponents are gonna hate me even more now lol
