for even you can also say (O.5*n)= the a term and the median is that term we got by the formula+ the next term/2 e.g if we got 4 using (0.5*n) it means we have to average the 4th term and the 5th term then divide by 2

As what you can see in the video the sulotion in the even part is quite long so I will just share my sulotion incase you dont want long sulotions.

And thats how you get the median for when n is equal to an even value.
If you ask, "Does this work all the time" and then yes ofcourse it works all the time.

What if we have thousands of values and don't even know how many numbers are there, is there any formula in this case?
Basically in normal maths you don't need it. Let me tell you the question you are asking is already implemented in data science. In python django orm queries we can solve it easily . We can use order_by, F, Q, Avg , and filter methods . Hope it will help.

Q1= Median of lower half = 21+22/ 2 = 21.5
Q2 = Median of entire data = 28+29/2= 28.5
