    I've truly been looking for a video like this for 2 years. Thank you so much. I'm wondering though, do you have any solution for smoothing out or completely removing the reflection of that square area light? It looks a little harsh on the glass, ya kno?

    • @VarunKumar
      @VarunKumar  Год назад +1

      That can happen if you put roughness as 0. Try to keep it a small number so it's not extremely shiny or you can use another type of light as well.

    • @VarunKumar

      There's a drop down next to viewport shading on top right just left to Outliner (where layers are), it opens up a panel. Under "color", default is set to "Material". You can change it to "random" and your objects will have colors in view port.

      I think Octane X is for Macs and an app is also available on the store:apps.apple.com/us/app/octane-x/id1548355081?mt=12
      I am not sure as I don't have a Macbook right now to test but I will be getting an M1 mac soon, I can then test it out for you.
      The dispersion effect won't come without Octane.
