    I'm so impressed by how you can just pick random things and put them together with other stuff in the right place and it looks so intentional and put together. I cannot for the life of me do anything close to that and I so wish I could! I need you to interior decorate my place.

      What she does here with the painting and metallic shelve is an interior design principle very easy to follow! Just pick a painting/object that you like and copy the color palete with the things around it :)🎨

    It's called a Victorian shadow box. Brides would put their veil and flowers in them to keep them safe and fresh. In victorian times they would also make them if someone past away to remember them. They would also make mourning jewelery from the dead persons hair. I think it's really cool.

    I have 2 little tea cups in that exact pattern that I got from my grandpa. They are in no way good for drinking but I depend on them to make my favourite cake because my grandpa used to bake with those as measurement cups and all of his recipes use them 😂

    i would personally be a little wary of any human bones or skulls, just in case they were grave robbed (typically from the graves of poor people or people of colour). ofc completely disregard this if you know where it came from and it's somewhere different! love your art and thrift finds! that veil is gorgeous!! ❤❤❤

    Microwaves are overrated, get yourself an Air fryer ❤😍😍 I got mine (her name is Eva, because she looks like the robot in Wall E) 3 years ago and been using her almost every day. I do everything with it.
    The bridal box is sooo gorgeous, I love it. I envy you for all these amazing flea markets and thrift finds. Edinburgh isn't too bad for it, but still gotta find more oddities.

    About the really old cutlery products you should also be careful with using them in the dishwasher and microwave. Not because the colors might not last but especially in microwaves some are not meant to go into such temperatures and they explode. I had it happen to me. Not great and that can lead to a fire in some cases too

    • @Gittemary
      @Gittemary  Год назад

      I would never put old cutlery in the microwave, nor recommend it 😊 and all kinds of metal is always a 100% no-go in the microwave, I was taught that growing up as well

Truth to be told, I loved it.😂❤ Spain is, saldly more and more, a hell in summer. It's even a hell right now, especially in the south and I'm so worried. Since you are writing a cook book, I would like you to check what oxalates and lectins are and what vegetables and fruits contain it and how it can hurt your health. Please!

    • @Gittemary
      @Gittemary  Год назад +1

      There is a big difference between writing a cookbook and giving nutrition advice, I would personally never take advice about nutrition from someone who isn't an expert in that field. There is way too much misinformation/misconstrued information out there. "Fruit and veg containing oxalates and lectins are bad for you" is an oversimplification that can be pretty harmful.

      That's kinda cute, I never thought about how other countries would pronounce Haribo before 😂 in German you pronounce it just the way it's written, Ha-Ri-Bo, each syllable on its own. That's because the origin is actually an acronym of Hans Riegel Bonn 😄
