Saw this last night and it was SPECTACULAR! Just like they said, it's incredibly immersive as soon as you walk in. This show NEEDS to grab all the Tony Awards. Lighting (INCREDIBLE!), Sound (Visionary!), Music (SOOOO Smart) with Lyrics and of course the cast. I have never seen any show like this one! Brava!!
I liked the film 20 years ago. I can't stop thinking about the musical. I've seen it twice and would go again tomorrow if I lived in New York City. It's incredible.
As talented as Ms. Olivo & Mr. Tveit are... And I really love Ms. Olivo, the first 40 seconds are so awkward as they have nothing interesting to say about the film. Also, I wouldn't be surprised if they're exhausted. All the work that leads up to previews and then actually performing the show, sometimes you're a little less than when it's time for trite interview questions.

"COME WHAT MAY!!!"
Saw the matinee today-July 20;Highly recommend it. Baz Luhrmann was there and made a little speech at the curtain call.
When I came here to see Aaron Tveit!!!
