he's insufferable. then as now.
@Пошлая Молли haha remember when that was actually an insult?
@@ginaplympton7889 Super talented, Gina. May we ask what you do?
arts schools are something else, i swear.
Yepp, they are.
I want to go to a performance arts high school so bad😔
@@jordanschumacher5776 Don't. Just don't. Especially this one. Its just an underfunded asylum for mental kids that can sing and dance very well. This is from a graduating senior.
@@mythrin oof, i guess the grass always seems greener on the other side, thanks for your honesty. Don't worry I'm a junior it's too late for me anyway . . .
Jordan Schumacher my comment is late but i went to the Professional Performing Arts School known as PPAS (alumni include Alicia keys, Jesse Eisenberg, Britney Spears, josh peck, Sarah hyland etc) and it was probably some of the best years of my life. It changed me in ways i can’t describe. You create your own reality
I wonder how the other kids in the school feel to see him and Ansel get so far already in their careers. I'd be jealous lol
LisaH he and ansel went to the same school?
Esther Okoyen yes.
Other actors like Jennifer Aniston, Sarah Paulson and Adrien Brody went there as well!
LisaH yes
+Tami so did al Pacino , christian slater , Sarah Paulson, Liza Minnelli, and nicki Minaj
Shoe asmr at the beginning
madison: omfg! 😆 i cringe at asmr, but yeah - i kept thinking “clip clop clip clop”... like was the mic in the FLOOR?
I actually loved it
that's why they tell girls to not wear heels cause it makes a lot of noise
it annoys me for some reason
frl doe
I hope the lighting guy didn't graduate as Timmys beautiful face was bleached out
Mike Caslake LMFAO
Him being washed out is because of the white balance of the camera.
Beth Franolich it’s not even the white balance bro the guy with the camera just didnt expose for his face
@@ClipoHQ its kinda funny that you have less upvotes than the guy saying its the white balance lmfao its the exposure people. Not the lighting guys fault
It’s not white balance issue, the iris is likely too high.
This kid's gonna get his Oscar, someday.
YIWEN LUO that's for sure
He has a good chance this year.
That could happen a couple months from now.
He will get one this year, mark my word.
nah they'll give it to Oldman more than likely. He's long deserved it
for such a prestigious school you’d think they’d know how to set up lighting
It’s not the lighting it’s the camera
@@smeech5177 its over exposed yea, but the lighting is awful.

Misss lawtonnnn
Reminds me of the SNL sketch, the arts school one
Dev Happy hahaha i think this is exactly what they are parodying!!
This is that. I go to this school. a lot of schools do showcases like this
Dev Happy then I guess SNL got it correct

I feel like I’m watching something I shouldn’t be
pls google what is satire is and how it works
Ирина Лопухина HAAHAAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
Ирина Лопухина i meant more that I’m watching a life event of his, that he never expected millions to see, and exploited for money.
That feeling is the magic of art.
This is the first time i am so obsessed after watching an actor...
"OMG we're not supposed to talk about that!"
When he said “Timothée Chalamet” it hit me!! I’m so proud!!!
Are you his mother?
he said Timothy not Timothee
@@TheLocochico ª
@@TheLocochico lmfao it IS Timothée Chalamet. His father is French 🤦🏻♀️
@@MitsukiDiablew I know his name braindead but he said Timothy when introducing himself on the video not Timothee
its kinda awkward because no one laughs
literally lmao it just sounds like some rant from fox news
Well... he’s playing a racist... so...
I love when immature people think everything is supposed to be a joke.
@no name I didn't say anything about maturity having an effect on whether it would be funny. I said it has an effect on whether you think it is supposed to be funny. Young people tend to lack depth and see things on a more fundamental level. If you talk to a girl you must want to have sex with her.
I don’t think it’s supposed to be funny
Drama kids man, they all just weird
Bhav S a lot of them in highschool are but I feel like they mature a little later than most people and I feel like a lot of actors weren’t “drama kids” like I know Brad Pitt wasn’t a drama kid for example
Bhav S this comment made me scream with laughter ur not even wrong
Wow I'm so offended.
No my best friend is in drama at LaGuardia the best person you will ever meet
So weird that you took the time to come here and watch this video. These kids are incredibly unique and special....and YOU are weird.....duh!
even though his face is all washed out by the lights you can still see his expressions. stellar.
we must protect him at all costs
Oh god how I loathe that stupid phrase
@@Belfastboi ikr
sss lmaoooo straight up
I’m a freshman at LaGuardia and it’s insane to see all these alumni that got so huge in such a short time!
Are you still at Laguardia?
How are you doing now?
my mom went there!
He's so very talented. His plethora of acting roles and characters is inspirational and his good nature, humility, honesty and overall openness is something I deeply admire in an actor, but also in a person as whole.
I just dont see any of it. He so boring and unorginal. Zero inspiration. Zero talent. I don't get it.
@@griffjenkins1462 Really? It is so interesting how differently people see him. I laid eyes on him while watching Homeland. Immediately caught my attention in any regards. Since then die hard fan and think he has very strong screen presence. Charismatic to me.
he did this for young arts and the crowds reaction made it so funny
this kids got something, I wonder if he'll be famous one day
He ishe just need to be more out there and he will be good in no time
@AYLIN KOHAN He is too shy like the old Timmy we need back and also he can't even do a interview for a minute and not get nervous it us adorable though
@AYLIN KOHAN me too
He is. i’m so proud of him tho
Well...if u watched lil timmy Tim and then statistics then U know enough if u still dont...then watch wonka, little women,dune(2),Call me by ur nam, beautyful boy and all the other amazing movies of timothee chalamet ❤
React on my message just to make sure that timothee gets heard 😢❤
He's done this monologue more than once! I think he really loves it. And he does it so well.
I'm curious as to why, honestly...
@@michaela3891 yeah, im not sure why either, considering what the message seems to be. seems like the kind of thing woke college students would cancel him over
He might have competed at speech tournaments with this dialogue. Oral Interpretation. In which case he would have practiced and performed countless times.
Is it from something? Movie or play? Or just a standard monologue made to perform?
@@megan2176ruclips.net/video/cGh7BG242io/видео.html here
This is the most awkward thing I’ve ever seen
He does this same monologue on another stage and it is delivered and received MUCH better, lol.
That's because you put yourself in that situation and you cant imagine doing that yourself.
It wasn't awkward. The man was performing art = =
@@timehawk2874 LMAO yeah 💀
I ALWAYS KNEW HE WAS PACKIN
Lmao you noticed to
Little did he know that in a few years he'd be a celebrity, dating a gizillioner, being a millioner himself, having people imitating his haircut and people screaming everywhere he goes. Good job Timothé!!
His High School's name sounds like a Harry Potter spell
Brilliant talent!!!
WingI111 what was so talented about this?
DBizzy1989 god stop hating you could not do any better
How he could possibly know that 5 years after this name timithée chalamet would be heard in oscars
Why is he so funny? And he seems to be a lot like Tom Holland/Laurie all mixed into one person.
Everyone in all posts about him say...”we have to protect him”, “hope he stays grounded “, “hope he stays humble “....my hopes for this kid are the same. If and when he decides to do something stupid (which is highly likely because of the pressures of Hollywood), I only pray he hears our well wishes being repeated on his head because he is one helluva talent.
Stay golden Timothee
his shirt kept coming up. oop
LaGuardia H.S. grad 1993, right here! Ah how I had big dreams… That’s okay. it’s been a fun ride so far, even if it hasn’t gone exactly according to how I dreamed it…LaGuardia was when I got to shine pretty bright. It’s never been quite as bright since….Good days they were.
How was the audition process to get into a school like this? Just curious
This instantly reminded me of miss Stevens 😂
Same
Same here 😂😂
I feel for all the other non-famous actors in this lol. As an actor myself, it's... uh... so hard lol. And now with the cost of living, it's harder and harder to survive off a shitty day job/gigs. So happy for Timothee cuz he's obviously so talented but yeah... shout out to all the other actors in this whose names we have no idea.
i truly can’t believe how much this reminds me of the snl high school theater show sketches i’m gonna vom!
"haha-haha-haaaa.."
but the way he pulled out a chair for the girl at the end i-😭
Such a talented, humble and sweet young man. He is going to be one of the best of Hollywood. I wish him all the best of the best and many blessings from G-d!
You can watch this and watch the same monologue for Youngarts and see how much he had improved just that year. He was talented to begin with but his hardwork helped him to reach where he is now. It just inspires me so much and make me want to work even harder for my dream to become an film director and actor 😍
All these videos of Timmy T makes me love him even more actually lol
im so in love with this man
He is like a young James Dean!!!
He’s pretty tall
i met him like two days ago and he is not THAT tall.
shak m is he really 6’ tall?
Jimmy Martinez i mean like he’s probably 5 foot 8 or 9
Jimmy Martinez but definitely not 6 feet
shak m - I guess he appears taller because he is slender and wears skinny clothes. Lol
....I have so much admiration
ughhh my boy graduating imma cry 😭
he is so good!!
Such a deep, strong voice for such a young guy 🤩
Great to have this for us and him xxxx
this is why i love art. how someone expresses his artform. specially from a guy tim. how it connects you.
LaGuardia gave him a lot of confidence. It taught him a lot
He feels much nicer on stage with his voices and moving. He looked maturity for working with adults already.
Damn! That is brilliant.
Rewatching every old video of Timmy part 1
he has been absolutely killing it in the past 6-7 years. staring in multiple films. wow. if I was another student there damn.
he has improved sooooo much its insane
so talented.
Talento, talento y más talento Tymy....
This performance makes me want to see more of him playing the villain and anti hero.
All of these people were trying to get the same thing timothee was and out of everyone there he made it and no one else did. Think about that for a second
K Michael A few kids from LaGuardia's graduating class are doing well now - Owen Campbell, Brandon Reilly... don't comment if you don't know what you are talking about dummy
Christopher Wilson oh please tell me what movies they were in then
Christopher Wilson I also how you said a few and only mentioned 2 people none of which have been in any movies that came out in theaters therefore my original comment still stands
K Michael look up the movie "as you are" it came out in 2016
K Michael and Brandon Reilly has played in Law and Order
What a superb lighting
So talented Timmy👏👏😍
he’s showing his lil timmy tim
must have had some dance training
lots of stage work
awesome delivery:
those expressive arms/hands!
He had ballet classes when he was younger, his mom owns a dance school =) his physicality is great indeed!!!
What a shining star!
This video reminds me of SNL's High School Theater show sketches! 😄
Good thing that he found his own style being himself, such an unique actor with every role he gets, in this video you can see that he was just trying too hard on copying other actors style, now he got his own originality
It’s funny because I watched this before he was famous
A star Is born
Who knew that he was gonna be casted as Paul Atredies in $200 million movie DUNE
Love Timmy but I would have liked to see all of their performances
why the audience so dead
It's graduation. What do you think?
CyberGalactic N0VA he preformed somewhere else, I don’t know where. But the audience like was DEAD
I think it's because its full of dads and moms watching their kids graduation haha
I LOVE SEEIG ALL THE OLD COMMENTS AND LOOKING AT WHERE HE IS NOW
Wow! So cool to see his humble beginnings like this. 🙂
He’s going to win his Oscar. I just know.
I am lovestruck and, in all the best ways possible, obsessed. The talent. The intellect. The awareness. The constructive use of privilege. AND in less than a minute?? TRULY AN INSPIRATION. Your mere presence makes us want to do better. You inspire others to aspire to be the best versions of themselves. Thank you, King.
Did we watch the same thing?
I'd liked to have seen the rest of this performance!
I like his manly, confident walk on stage 🥰😘😍😘🥰
i'm so proud that i'm attending the same high school he did. omgkdjgklj
the shoe asmr in the beginning tho
his actual performance of this monologue was so good
Dejo esto aca para cuando lluege junio o diciembre ✌🏼😙
Um im sorry... im gonna need more info on this monologue.
Lmao. Yah wtf.
its taken from this piece about racism in the workforce, he did another performance on it that was longer for Young Arts, that one was HILARIOUS he did phenomenal you should watch it
How many people watching this in 2021. Just me okhay
when you notice at the time, you only lived 10 minutes away from this high school
i love this man
Dude I really appreciate this kid now
Seeing his dancing and acting from school
a lot of energy and charm
He has a big career ahead of him
Watching him play this racist character, I just noticed: He'd make a perfect Iago, in a production of Shakespeare's Othello (The Tragedy of Othello, the Moor of Venice). Film producers, take note!
I have been thinking the same thing! We need to campaign for this. Although, he already did Henry V and may not want to do Shakespeare again for a while.
@@nataliavelazquezburgos326 I feel he was robbed of a Shakespeare script in that film, although I did enjoy it greatly. I'm sure he would love to speak actual Shakespearean dialogue.
His good friend Stephane Bak as Othello! I'm really looking forward to seeing him in The French Dispatch.
I’ve been doing more research into the play and Stephane Bak would make a good Cassio instead of Othello simply because he’s too young to be Othello. It would also be a greater dynamic to see real life friends play enemies. I do suggest Saoirse Ronan for Emilia, though.
@@nataliavelazquezburgos326 A black Cassio: interesting twist. You are correct that Othello should be older than Iago, although it isn't specified by how much. I would therefore suggest Daniel Kaluuya as Othello, since he is already in his 30s.
he always had "IT"
damn nice to see someone from the same background as you famous // humble
Omg this looks like that snl sketch
lmal the other performance of this got a lot of laughs but they missed the point. this audience seems to understand the premise more. good.
i agree
This performance is restrained; he cut loose for YoungArts.
Francisco Miranda yeah it seemed so, but I think the audience understood better here. It might have nothing to do with his delivery and all to do with the two different crowds.
Riya Nadkarni can u explain the point pls I’m confused :)
@@GM-tx4sg It sounds strange to hear Timothee Chalamet do this speech, considering he hangs out with rappers in real life, but we have to forget about that here. His speech started from 0:58 , and ended with him saying about the mailroom guys, "This culture is hateful. And what right does any human being have to be hateful, huh?" Basically, his character was a typical racist, who rants loudly and is critical of black people's culture, but is unaware of his own hatefulness. It's ironic.
I can't do that, seriously. He's amazing.👏👏
Love Timmy❤
Well, we know who made it. :) Brilliant young actor!
