America’s freedom came at a price - one we should never take for granted. Thousands of brave men and women still fight, so that future generations can enjoy freedom. In God We Trust is a tale of courage and faith that is told through the story of a small church in Arlington, Texas. With a father at war in Afghanistan, there is turmoil in the hearts of his family at home. As their Fourth of July event preparations progress, word comes to the soldier’s wife that her husband has been captured by hostile forces. Will the family’s trust in God be enough to carry them through this difficult time?

THANK YOU!!! You might not know this, but it is extremely difficult to find a video that actually has the 4th stanza included. It breaks my heart that such a travesty of forgetting our history and slowly eliminating ALL the reasons in which we became the country and thrived for as long as we have!!! The power has always been in the blood. Blood of those brave enough to risk theirs; and of course, the only reason we can truly be free-Jesus. When we lost sight of our motto: "IN GOD IS OUR TRUST," the results were slow in occurrence; but unfortunately, they are coming in fast now.
this is what the national anthem should be sung like. not some pop singers just singing it to get their vocal range, it should be this. amazing work!

While I wish there was a visual for the "rocket's red glare", I think it helps to convey the weight behind the lyrics better than most videos. Too many people don't take time to truly reflect on the context of the "Star-Spangled Banner"

David, this is amazing footage. I have a question for you. This seems so markedly different from other styles of shooting documentary footage of that time (I’m thinking fixed-camera with maybe a tracking pan). This, by contrast, is very dynamic and intimate camera work. So my question is: did you find that your style of filming was unique, or was this something that other documentary filmmakers, your peers at the time, were also starting to explore? Or did you find that you were more on the leading edge of camera work in documentaries? Thanks!
