Why do the realtors let this happen? Kinda infuriating! I just sold and didn't wait until last minute. Was it a rock bottom price? I feel like the realtor could be putting pressure on the listing agent. In Meridian late May I sold, and another neighbor didnt get an offer quickly (after interest rates rose there has been a shift) they then took it off the market.
Our offer was full price 🤷🏻♂️. They new one more offer was coming in so they waited for it, but a phone call from the listing agent letting us know would have been the right thing to do in our opinion.

Wishing you great times with your new Idaho property. Hoping you watch the you tube videos called Girl in the Woods. She and her husband (who also has a channel) have several remote properties in Michigan and they build tiny homes on each of them. They have a video on how to build an outhouse ( use clear heavy duty plastic for the top so you always have light inside). I think you would enjoy watching them.

We love the beauty of the mountains in that area, we like the people we have met, the ability to do what we want with our property and more. Yes it does snow but it also snows in northern Utah where our home is now. We currently don't plan to winter there.

I have an RV question… we are having a lot of problems with our standard water based RV toilet. We saw that you switched out your toilet to a Composting toilet. Now that it’s been a while are you still happy with the decision? PS: I know this question is out of sequence with your videos but we really need your feedback. While a composting toilet may not be for everyone, we wouldn’t change back. A typical RV ends up flushing up to 1/3 of the fresh water down into the black tank. We love how our fresh water supply lasts longer. We’ve plumbed the urine to now go directly into the black tank and that is a game changer. For us, 100% won’t go back.
I'm confused, but then again, it doesn't take much to confuse me. A month ago you posted a video about land in Idaho you purchased. Is this a 2nd property you purchased in Idaho? Congratulations either way!

Inconsiderate? Absolutely. I have been a Realtor for 32 years and always kept my customers updated on offers. Even if it was to say I had not heard anything yet. The seller does have the right to keep reviewing offers until a contract has been fully accepted and signed by both parties. I know, it is very stressful. They were not supposed to tell you that yours was the highest offer - the listing agent was not allowed to give out that information. Glad you did get the property.

If they have 24 hours, they have 24 hours. That’s not stringing you along or being rude. Why make yourselves miserable? I’m glad you got the land you wanted.
We've played this game several times with other properties so yea we were nervous. But they also took 25.5 hours to respond. The issue was with their agent not the sellers. We may have said the sellers but we were dealing with our agent who dealt with theirs. He has promised to respond in some way prior to the deadline. 🤷🏻♂️
I don’t the hte seller was rude. If I”d been seller realtor I”d told all bidders they have 24 hours to make a best and final and 10% higher would be the only bid that make it. so you got a good deal.
We referred to the seller but in reality it was the sellers agent. He told our agent he would call by noon and then never did. All he had to do was call to say they are still deciding. Setting expectations and then not delivering, that was the issue but in our frustration we didn’t accurately portray that. We’re just fortunate that it all worked out in our favor. NORTH IDAHO IS A GREAT PIECE OF TERRITORY. WE SHOPPED THERE. PRICES WE'RE MUCH OUT OF OUR BUDGET. WE SETTLED ON 120 ACRES IN ELKO COUNTY NEVADA.

Swell decision. Now start preparing to be fire resilient. And you might need snow removal equipment as well as a wood shed.

Inconsiderate? Absolutely. I have been a Realtor for 32 years and always kept my customers updated on offers. Even if it was to say I had not heard anything yet. The seller does have the right to keep reviewing offers until a contract has been fully accepted and signed by both parties. I know, it is very stressful. They were not supposed to tell you that yours was the highest offer - the listing agent was not allowed to give out that information. Glad you did get the property.

We've played this game several times with other properties so yea we were nervous. But they also took 25.5 hours to respond. The issue was with their agent not the sellers. We may have said the sellers but we were dealing with our agent who dealt with theirs. He has promised to respond in some way prior to the deadline. 🤷🏻♂️
I don’t the hte seller was rude. If I”d been seller realtor I”d told all bidders they have 24 hours to make a best and final and 10% higher would be the only bid that make it. so you got a good deal.
We referred to the seller but in reality it was the sellers agent. He told our agent he would call by noon and then never did. All he had to do was call to say they are still deciding. Setting expectations and then not delivering, that was the issue but in our frustration we didn’t accurately portray that. We’re just fortunate that it all worked out in our favor. @@MountainBeaches Well, you continued to 'share' how Rude the sellers were by not contacting you thruout the 24hr acceptance time frame..They did NOT have to. Their Non communication at the 24hr hour mark (not rude at all) WAS their communication! They are under their OWN stress of deciding on ALL the offers that came in..Not All about You.. Ba-bye!!

Our frustration was with the listing agent in not communicating, not the seller. We may not have communicated that correctly. Not sure why you are so riled up over something you have no involvement in. Have a great day.
@@MountainBeaches Makes NO difference!!! Neither the seller OR listing agent had ANY obligation to have you on speed dial. The 24hr clock ran out; that's them communicating to you!! He has his other clients to assist (and you aren't his client). He communicated WHEN HIS Clients communicated to Him..
