Whatever you do don’t rush this game, good art needs time, hard work, and patience. If your gonna make this game don’t give in to pressure to release it make sure all bugs are gone and it doesn’t matter if it will take a year or two to finish. This game looks great already, so I can tell the wait for this one will be extraordinary.
EDIT: wow thanks for the likes and agreement you guys rule!
"A good game takes a few more months. A bad game is forever."-Shigaru Miyomoto.
If they started asking for a monthly fee/subscription, so they can you know, eat, while they polish the game, would you pay it?
You'd be surprised by how great a game can be, even if it only takes two weeks to make
@@LaloIsBlue ofc he would not, talking shit about take some more months to polish the game bla bla bla, games that are EA already spend tons of cash to bring the project into EA and needs extra boost of cash to push it further, this main comment above is so dumb and author basically know shit about game studios and how they work to live.
We can wait for Shitty Cyberpunk
Why not wait for this Perfectly Dinosaur Game ?
This is the dinosaur themed game we've been waiting for!
É o Max, acerte o Cretino!
Kkkkkkk mds
Salve max !

Try "the isle" game.
This looks like it has so much potential, devs please don’t screw up like a lot of devs have done this year, work hard on this game and it will pay off
Hard work will give you extra years in your business, Devs.
the maps look like shit. unbelievable linear. this game will get boring real fast if the gameplay they showed is all thats available. 2021 no one wants to play a game where they are walking down a hallway. we want big maps and free roam!. the maps all shown in video have nothing to explore or experience, youre just following the path to trigger videos/events. this game will be enjoyable for 1 playthrough as it sits now
@@user-vm3hz9vf8e You're a clown
@@RowdyBrian17 im sorry you cant handle the truth snowflake
@@user-vm3hz9vf8e
This is literally just a game trailer. I highly doubt this is all the game will have to offer. You are a clown
AS A SPEAKER OF DINOSAUR GAME ENTHUSIASTS, WE WILL BE OKAY WITH YOU DELAYING THIS GAME FOR AS LONG AS YOU NEED TO MAKE IT THE LEVEL OF QUALITY YOU GUYS DESIRE
you're assuming they desire quality, as apposed to money. I hope you're right on this one Maxwell.
Cyberprank : "how about 77 years?"
I don't agree with that. We will be old before we can play this... there are game that were announced over 10 years ago that I'm still waiting for, come to think about it, I lost all my interest in them
Thats basically pre-alpha, you can play the game but the game is delayed pretty much for ever. Also, what do you know about the level of quality they desire, maybe they desire potato quality?
@@quetzo126 You’re being contrarian for the sake of being contrarian, go touch grass.
These types of games always look so much fun, but then they get realesed unfinished and full of bugs. I hope I'll be wrong about this one.
Past behaviors are great predictors of future actions. Once we stop saying "well, maybe things will be different next time", can things actually change. Until then, the cycle will continue.
and then they doesn't release the full game in 3 years, and after 3 years it's still "early access" on steam
Well, to be fair that games are really a lot of fun once they are finished. I played The Forest in 2014 I guess and it was a "ok unfinished game", then I come back to play this in 2020 with my GF and it was one of the best survival experiences that I had.
Indie developers most of time don't have resources to launch a finished game, they need to eat to survive so they unfortunately don't have others choices.
@@Capza atomic heart?
you're honestly not wrong, hope this one turns out different
This looks fantastic. I really hope the dinosaurs don't seem "floaty", and really seem to walk and run through their environment. That kind of disconnect really takes me out of a game.
Then you've missed out on some great none AAA games.
@@lee1davis1 Eh?
@@mahna_mahna if you are asking for an example. Ark is an amazing dino game but it still has animation issues.
@@lee1davis1 I mainly don't play ARK because I don't enjoy survival/crafting games.
@@Fiendai kinda depends on what game your looking for, I like ark but it's a very long commitment kinda game. or maybe I'm just a coward and that's why it takes me a while to do things.
You know a game is good if it's got your heart racing from just the trailer! I can't wait until this game is released! And just like everyone in the comments has said, please take your time working on this game!
The realistic gore of the half-eaten security guard really has my interest piqued. An actual survivor-horror dinosaur game, with interesting mechanics and locations (Looks like early Jurassic Park, THE GOOD ONE) honestly make me kinda excited.
It's probably not really "realistic gore" but more of a set-piece kinda deal unfortunately, where it's just there. Ever since outlast, that's where horror games have been going. Which is a shame that they take ideas from such a weak game.
looks more like a narrative rail shooter (or corridor shooter) to me.
Which could be fun in arcadey short-burst way.
But will be pretty repetitive and boring if they dragged it for more than 4 hours or so (maybe 8 defending on how jaded you are to that kind of game).
If they go with the open world/open exploration route well it would something that we have seen hundred times before.
And I would expect it to be similar to other chore-bore survival crafting game.
Now I would be down with it if it is some kind of a hunting simulator, that requires patient and planning, but most gamers find stalking and loitering for hours waiting for your prey to be absolutely boring.
@@gelmir7322 who tf would want a dinosaur hunting game instead of survival?
@@ThatNoFbody-ch9ky
me
I like playing games like the old Carnivore or theHunter
@@gelmir7322 Carnivores was interesting, yes :) A proper hunt for cash has been missing for some time now. There was this weird little sneaking game called Dinosaur Safari too, where you just had to get as close as possible to the creature and then take a photograph.
This looks so intense, slightly terrifying, but intense! I can't wait for this to be released!
This game looks great! The atmosphere, graphics, and Dinosaur designs are all greatly implemented and executed. I'm excited to see where this project goes.
@@runarhe5913 The Dinosaurs look reasonably accurate and have a look that's distinct enough from other stuff like Ark and the Jurassic Franchise
@@runarhe5913 They may not be totally accurate but I appreciate that they tried incorporating some accuracy in the designs at least. Like not promoting the Allosaurus wrists, giving the Dromaeosaurs feathers, and giving the Stegosaurus a longer neck.
@@runarhe5913 They can't go all the way since it's impossible to get every little detail right about an animal we only know from fossils. Even after all the information we have from the fossil record there are still things we may never know about these amazing animals like their colors, patterns, unique behaviors, sounds, and soft tissue. Sure there may be some exceptions like Psittacosaurus and Sinosauropteryx but those are very rare exceptions.
Also, since this is a piece of fiction involving animals we don't know every little detail about they are allowed to make at least minor changes as long as the creatures are recognizable and the change benefits the story.
@@runarhe5913 I see, I understand your concerns and criticisms. These are amazing animals and it would be great to see them be represented totally accurately. However, this is still a work of fiction rather than a documentary and it's commendable the other things they did get correct. And it's also important to remember that it's still debated on whether or not Carnosaurs like the Allosaurus in this game had feathers. While they shouldn't have lizard-like scales, it isn't totally inaccurate to portray them with scales of some kind. We should agree to disagree and continue to appreciate these amazing creatures and our continuing research and discoveries of them
@@runarhe5913 Thank you, you too!
please dont rush this! make this a masterpiece! looks amazing so far!
Just saw this on my recommended and IT LOOKS AWESOME!!! Take your time in developing the game, like many others have said. It will be worth it to you guys in the long run when your players are very thrilled and happy about the outcomes =)
welp you've got my attention, bout time we got a survival horror with dinosaurs
I know "survival horror" is the goal for The Isle, but let's be honest, this seems to be fitting that one a lot better based off of this trailer alone

It's so neat to see interaction between the dinosaurs and wild animals. It's great for scale as well.
Literally as I was watching this I was like damn can’t wait to see Anthomnia play this and get scared like hell
I'll definitely keep my eye on this, definitely has my attention if for no other reason than it looks amazingly well done.
Looks like Ark and The Forest had a baby

From what I can tell the dinosaurs look accurate to the current scientific understanding of them, awesome! And also just proves you don't need to make dinosaurs into movie monsters for them to be scary!

Have you heard of Instinction game? They look similar
@@iambeavis762 No, not the same. I have been playing that one.
Imagine a game where it's essentially 'Escape From Tarkov'...only instead of ''Raiders'' and ''Scavs'' you have dinosaurs. I'd 100% play that, and you could hear gunfire in the distance and dinosaur roars as players clash with each other and creatures. Dayum, I hope one day I get to play that game
honestly im just waiting for the tarkov model to be adapted into other types of games... imagine a hunting game with the same engine and movement mechanics as tarkov... the maps in that game are so cool and i find myself just wanting to explore them without other players lmfao i have more fun playing offline mode in that game
@@kg7219 yeah I know right? You know what does it? It’s the atmosphere.
The sound design is spectacular, and all they did was record real live sound effects on a budget and put it in the game.
Other multi million dollar studios make the audio in a piece of software which is why guns always sound whispy and light, and yet in Tarkov the sound just rips your head off or makes you duck or freeze.
And the fact is has the
rotunds to be a survival game with actual survival mechanics adds to it. Making sure you have splits or first aid, morphine etc. If you had a dinosaur hunting game or tarkov with dinosaurs I’d play it non stop.
There’s a reason why Tarkov is so popular though and it because there aren’t any other studios willing to put that kind of work in
I doubt we’ll see another game go for the same kind of gameplay experience as Tarkov unfortunately but I hope someone does
OMG you put my fantasies into words! The chills I get if I heard gunshots followed by roars in the distance. Dinosaurs only roar to showcase victory......
Please devs don't rush this game and take their time, please please please have multiplayer. At least local.
Is this the spiritual successor to Trespasser I've been waiting for? Certainly has the potential by the looks of it. Great work so far!

Cool looking dinosaurs, you have my attention
This is insane. I watched the trailer 10 times in a row and I still rewatch every couple of days. This game has so much potential!!!!!!
The audio sounds amazing, this game has so much potential. Who doesn't love dinosaurs?
Damn. Could have totally added a sick dinosaur roar at the end to also showcase the audio.
As a history buff, an arm chair paleontologist, and just lover of biology. Absolutely in love with the feathered dinos! And I like the inclusion of quills on dinos were still unsure of. Looks cool so far!!
"as a history buff I'm really happy to show that I know a lot by being glad about the inclusion of a feature literally everyone knows theropods had!"
I mean, nothing personal, but if you are really interested by paleontology and biology in general, surely you noticed that all those theropods are looking at you right through their blind spots, right? 0:34 is pretty ridiculous for example. At 1.05 the character is right in the middle of the field of view of the dinosaur, but apparently they can only see right in front of them, despite their eyes being on the side of their skulls (like a lot of birds who will turn their heads on the side to see).
Feathers where? They all look like the outdated view of dinosaurs as being scaly and shrink wrapped. Like Jurassic Park type shit. I wish they looked more like our most current reconstructions of dinosaurs.
@@benbowland Look at the raptors at 0:40, they have full feathered cover and even flap their wings
@@Ezullof No need for negativity.
Scaly dinos > feathered dinos.
This looks surprisingly good. Keep up the good work, waiting for the release!
This reminds me of the nightmares I had as a kid where I got chased by dinosaurs through the woods.
The whole story and everything I read on your website, it smells like a "We wanted to make money with our park, but suddendly, all our dinosaurs escaped", ending. I like it!
I love the detail you have put into this game and one of my favorite aspects is its not JUST dinosaurs, you added existing animals. That is something other dinosaur games leave out. Can't wait for this game to come out and the graphics and animations look amazing.
Finally! A good game with dinosaurs. I haven't felt this excitement since Turok in 2008.
And also peter Jackson’s King Kong official game of the movie.

I really hope the devs take their time with this one, as I've been waiting for a game like this for ages! I wouldn't hold my breath though, as I've seen so many cool games like this crash and burn once they release because they rushed it or didn't put enough thought into it. Let's hope The Lost Wild breaks that trend.
