If you want a faster one do the triangle in restless. Top north hotspot, depths hotspot and the hotspot to the left of it by the shore. Ez triangle route and by the time you finish 1 the other 2 would have respawned already. Only works if you’re the only 1 hitting those spots tho
Do you ever fish hotspots without bait? What are your thoughts..? I've caught a legendary fish before without bait and a couple of chests in the same hotspot session.
Can you make a guide on how and where to get every single trade skill gear? Been looking and cant find any such guide anywhere and by the looks of it you have most trade skill gear from watching you videos.
I just ran the math myself, if im not mistaken the ideal and possible setup would be 3* Fishing ground + 22500 luck.( E.g. 2 major trophies + T5 pole with out luck perk). This should yield a 64.39% chance of rare fish, 32.37% chests and 3.24% legendary fish, giving a 21.46% chance for oysters specifically.
It was in the dev blog, it is broken atm, they increased the needed xp, but "forgot" to change the xp rewarded for crafting, it is going to be fixed in the next update they say.. so do not try to level it atm, your wasting materials! but to answer your question, yes I am after it is fixed.
So I have the vengeful set and the fierce set. Some of the vengeful set does not have luck, would their be a reason to not mix the sets to get the most luck?

Idk if im doing it wrong but i dont see half the fishing hot spots you show, i only see 3 hotspots at lvl 53 fishing while the fishing hotspot tool tells me there should be 6 hotspots
It is strange, some do not show up for me either, I use the interactive map, don't trust the in game map completely, when you walk there, it will be there.
As your fishing skill increases, you unlock new fishing hot spots. If you look at the fishing skill in the gathering section, it will show you what new hot spots will unlock for you at certain fishing skill levels. You still need to discover the hot spots by physically going to them.
@@christopherdaffron8115 which is weird because some hotspots were on my map because i was at those spots before i could actually see. So i figured they show up as soon as i unlocked them but that wasnt the case
There was a weird time shortly after release where fishing was bugged I reckon.. I could see the hot spots from afar but as I approached in fishing distance they would disappear or the fish would stop jumping out.. Was strange for a while.
so when i just wanna level fishing and dont care about the fishes or the ore around the map isnt it faster just stand on a fishing spot and fish straight there then walking around and maybe dont find the fishing spot and waste time while walking?
No, because the size of the fish, and the rarity changes drastically the amount of experience you will get. So fishing in hotspots will always be by far faster
Hey, a friend said the fishing trophies don't stack? an on the database it says they have a max stack of 1? so can I put 3 basic or 3 major in each house or would I have to have 1 minor, 1 basic or 1 major or?
They are supposed to stack, and when I use 1 in each of my homes it shows them all on my character sheet like any other trophy, however if somewhere unseen they truly are not stacking then it is a bug
I explain in the video, but what you do is when you catch the legendary fish required, you salvage it, this will create a item that now unlocks the trophy in your furniture crafting much like the other artifacts do for other trades
I had just gone down to grab my 5th large fish for Soulwarden Rations and watched this while I fished. 3 Chests and 1 Abaia with my new Ironwood Fishing Pole. How often did you open the chests?
My original plan was to save them to open at the end of the video, about mid way I found myself with a storage with over 200 chests, so i opened them and then just opened them when I finished each session full.

I just wish they would change treasure chests so you could get more useful things out of them. All the metals like gold, silver and platinum are going for 0.01 on my server ....
Not sure exactly on hours, but I was requested to do it on Saturday and I was 29 fishing when I showed my skills to subscribers to choose, and I uploaded the video Monday afternoon that week. So it did not take very long really.
I noticed you’re a dex user. Can you do detailed guide on bow use ? Best skills or pvp and pve. I can’t make up my mind and would like to hear a detailed reason for which skills r best for bows. And the damn hit box. I can’t get used to it and miss 8/10
Vengeful fishing set is not best in slot apart from the hat and the gloves, the other best in slot pieces come from the fishing quest line and at lvl 100 fishing you a chance to get 1 of 5 legendary fishing rods of which 2 are decent(these are not best in slot but are sti great rods) Best is in slot rods can only be crafted and you'll need 2. 1 for daytime fishing and another for night time.
These are great guides. Perhaps something to consider: don't read every line of text verbatim off the screen like a high schooler stalling for time on a PowerPoint presentation. We could have gotten through the perks section in about 10 seconds. Here, it was seemingly 2 hours. Thank you for the guide all the same though!
I honestly have tried skipping over things like you suggest and the comments get a ton of , but where do I get this, where do I get that, I wasn't stalling or dragging out the video, simply try to cover everything because according to feed back I get alot more people listening while playing , then watching ..
As usual, a great video, but please, no need to repeat every "Rank I, Rank II, Rank III ..." when it's clear on the screen and from the context. This is the only video of yours I've ever seen that made me cringe with impatience. Content is great, delivery here was painful.
The affect from them does, MAX of 1 means per house, this has been argued over and over, but all trophies say max of 1, but if you place 1 in each home the luck stacks

Hey just wondering, are the other levelling guides that you've made still viable after patch 1.1?
Furniture and armoring are unchanged, both are the same for 1.1, I am checking on others and updating as needed

Great guide the perk part could be condensed quite a bit with the day/night and fresh/salt water perks

Check on the new world database, you need specific levels for specific spots to be even able to see them
what is the advantage of being able to fish at the MAX length away from the pole?
The farther away you can cast, the easier it is to reel in a fish, distance = less line tension

Nice guide, but at 150 fishing I don't see the hotspots on my map you did in weavers fen.

There is mention of the ultimate fish trophy when you catch one of the tier 5 legendary fish. do you know how to craft it ?

Just hit hotspots to level up fishing. Get a wyrdwood pole along the way. Do the fishing quest. Dynomega has a full guide for it
