Hey guys, I just wanted to make this final fishing guide video, this way I can finally have everything updated, and in one place, that way I hope every question is answered that I get on all the others!

Great video and I love the breakdown of numbers. I still do not get it through. I have 1 level 3 trophy (5000) + all fishing luck 3 armor (10000) + Lucky 3 on pole (7500) + bait (8500) = 31,000. Even if I add 2 more trophies, I would still only be at 41,000. For open water, how in the heck do I ever get to 84,900 much less a higher luck value? I am sure there is something I am just missing or I am looking at the numbers wrong. Any additional help would be appreciated. Getting quite a few gray fish in open water.

Love the video's. You often talk about loot buckets and have definitive numbers as to what gets you into what loot bucket, but where do I find "loot bucket" info, like is there a place to see that and what loot buckets contain what items? or maybe i'm just missing it in one of the databases.
Have the weird luck situation/bug involving fishing poles been resolved yet,? Looking forward to fishing regularly again, but not as rewarding until then Ty for all the detailed guides

Now that you've explained it I'll stand a much better chance. One last thing, you mentioned size of fish, does this not come down to luck but instead the collusus buffs you have instead? Many thanks
Do you prefer to sell the raw ressource over trying your luck to get the rare ressource, for example clam vs pearls? or is this just a basic market check to calculate the risk vs reward? love the videos, makes me want to get out there and do some late night fishing again.
I bought Catfish for 10 g. The catfishwhiskers sold for 15 a 20 a piece.. Salvaging a Catfish give more than one whisker. I bought snails because there where cheaper then the slime. 1:1 salvage ratio.

I'm curious though where you found that Legendary fishing poles give 12,500 luck, for instance. I'm assuming these are data mined values, was hoping to find the Colossus values there as well. If those are in the loot tables, I'm not seeing them.
Great video! Do you think you could make one on how to clear corruption portals solo? I saw the gameplay you put on your New World Dead Game? I Don’t Think So! video and tried to figure out your build, but it's just not working for me. I would appreciate it big time!
I really enjoy Fishing in New World. The reaction I get from players because I use the Fishing Legend title is priceless. Half of the call me a Chad, and the other half think I'm absolutely insane. 🤣😂🤣
If i think about it, does PVP flaged does not count as fishing luck? Also what about Cutlass Key Fort? It would be 3000(30%) point and 1000(10%) point for fort. Also what about base luck 2000 from lvl 200 fishing that alsou doesn't count? Anyway great vieo as always :) Keep it up.
I really wish they would add some other things to the treasure chests like real "treasure" maybe a 1 in 50 chance to get a named item or something like that or trophy mats or rare furniture. Something that would be in a real chest.
LOL Iam glad you love it... Fishing is boring to me, I feel if it had more meaning to it more people would do it.. Besides cooking and a few minor other things thats it.. Why is it i cut down a iron wood tree or mine Ori i get over 1000xp but Leg fish i get 500... Fishing is just lacking all around. I dont need pearls i get them from chests heck I got 5 cut pristine pearls from chest.
Do you know if Fishing Rod luck bonus is still glitched and not applying? The issue started in early December. It has been over 8 weeks or two months now. Is there still an issue?
Why the hell is the fishing quest rewards 50/50 chance??? Is it normal to get cucked and get no good boots or no good gloves with a pairing of Fishing Colossus III and Lucky Waters III?
there are 3 different fisherman sets, when you have all three you can mis match the sets to build full colossus, and full lucky waters 3.. jsut be sure to hold onto the lower level sets, you will need them
This just simply is not true lol, I know many people who fish for hours.. generally I have found the same people who say they can't do something for a couple hours like fish,, are the same ones who say.. making coin is impossible now with inflation...

atm rod is broken, your getting nothing from it, thats part of the issue
@@5HeadSurvivalGaming Even with the rod adding 12500 I would still only be at 52500. Still not in the range of blue (96900).

Yes when targeting size just stack colossus

pvp luck has no impact on fishing, nore does the fort, and fishing level affects your tension not luck sadly

Well I can real in a legendary fish naked with a tier 1 rod, so none is "needed". more just makes it easier

Impossible to fish good spots on my server. There are always bots perma fishing the oysters for example
