Number 11 .... Don't select the +x% to XP earned when you level up a Territory Faction. You will easily get to max level soon enough and you will wish you picked something else. Maybe do it once, but anything beyond that is a waste.
One more tip. If you look at the armor rewards on the faction vendor you may be disappointed to see that all the armor is constitution based. Its ok. For the very cheap price of 10 faction tokens you can buy a seal to change that stat to whichever one you like best. Take the new armor and the seal to either the outfitter station for medium or light or the forge for heavy armor and combine them. Doesnt require any skill so anyone can do it.
I really hope Amazon doesn't screw it up like they screwed up the initial launch so people stay around. I'm not sure they will get a ton of the PC crew back so console is their last hope at keeping the game alive.
Great tips! I'm getting back into the game lately in prep for the 15th. Been away for a couple years and while not a lot has changed, it DOES feel like coming home. Looking forward to the 15th for sure!
@@BraidedZero Let me rephrase :) the geography and graphics (which I thought was stunning at launch) are basically the same. Things are pretty much where they used to be, so I dont have to relearn the map to feel "at home" and grounded. Its a positive, not a negative :) I did a character wipe and a restart on a fresh server tonight and I do agree.. the grind is no where near what it used to be, things feel like they flow and while I know "what to do" to get a good start.. Im happy to see that progress is actually more cohesive than it was in the past. Cant wait to see how much more things improve with the launch on the 15th.
Good point. Graphically it's the same and most of the map is the same. The two lower regions are changing or have changed so there's that, but most of it is the same. The game feels much better than 3 years ago
Not really. All of them are pretty viable. People will be wanting bags and tools early but in the end food, armor, and weapons are big. It's up to you.
any of them can be money makers at endgame. People will always need new gear because of hitting max rank or wanting to try a new playstyle, consumables are always in demand, and some people would rather just farm or play the economy for gold, and then buy their items from others!
Still debating what TS's I want to boost. I was going to go with engineering because that complements bow/spear, but then maybe I wont need it since ammo is gone and there are great weapons on the faction vendor. Then maybe cooking or alchemy. Or stonecutting!
I think mining and gathering are great basic skills to take for ore and cloth (and because they're more difficult to level than skinning). For the higher skills I think engineering, armoring, and arcana are great skills because of tools, bags, and potions (and they're harder to level as well). Food buffs are pretty solid too though.
#5, 7 and 8 are solid, besides that, make sure u are lvl 65 with high GS, playing as a lvl 60 on PC (no Angry Earth DLC) will hold ur game experience extremely low. :)
I only just recently bought the DLC. I didn't feel like they had earned my money yet. With the release of Aeternum I feel it's worth giving them another shot. I hope they don't ruin it.
@@BraidedZero I bought it back on release on my 2 accounts. The thousands of hours I spent in NW def was worth to buy it and the hundreds of hours later :) and another hundreds of hours on a fresh start server :)
My main problem is that I felt they hadn't fully delivered on what they promised with the initial release. It was fun for sure but had a lot of problems and they were silent about fixing those problems. Then they asked me for more money after years of silence and not addressing concerns. And to add even more on top they promised more updates after the release of the DLC and as far as I understand, there have been almost none. So I didn't want to give them my money. Now I'm being forced to buy it so I can enjoy the new experience. I'm up for giving them a second chance, I just hope they don't screw it up and burn us twice.
Ordered the game and waiting for tomorrow...first time player and have absolutely no idea what im doing...all of the videos im watching is making me think that its more of a daunting task than i really want to take on, seems like i may have wasted 60 bucks.
Oh man, definitely not. Load up the game and chill. Have fun questing, cut down some trees, sell stuff on the market, and just take it all in. It's not hardcore at all.
The story is pretty good and the main quest is interesting. Most of the side quests are fetch quests or "go kill this type of enemy" quests but the variety keeps it from being boring. I would say that my general feeling was to get through the quests so I could get to the endgame so I may not be the best one to answer that.
I love crafting in new world as well but it can definitely be tedious. Not only do you need to find the right supplies but you have to be the right level as well. Then you can add a bunch of other items into the item when you craft it to change the stats. Very tedious.
@@BraidedZero The level of inventory and ensuring your selections throughout all match your character requirements just looks like a pretty high learning curve to me tbh I’ve never been great with games that have 101 thing to have to remember
That's fair. I will say that of all the MMO's I've played, this is one of the easier ones. There is much less to manage. It may seem like a lot but I think the game does a pretty good job of slowly introducing you to the concepts.
Dude, I’ve watch 2 of your videos recently and they both use the same old corrupted footage from original launch. At least pretend you e played the game in the last year when you claim to be an expert who can give advise. It’s no where near the same game. Play the game, record current footage and THEN try and milk out some free money from it. Your footage is literally brown and tan dude. Dont be a lazy grifter.
All footage used in my videos has been recorded in the last week. Also, I am colorblind and have that on. I'll remove that for future videos. Thanks for the advice. Should remove the brown and tan tint.
I believe it might be beneficial for you to find a hobby, my friend. The information being shared is a significant advantage for new and returning players. Ultimately, the age of the accompanying footage is irrelevant.
@@AToxicCasualMy hobby is playing New World. 7500 hours, 6-8 hours a day. I suggest you share your opinions with those more concerned with what you think. Cause that ain’t me.

@@AToxicCasualIt’s actually the most toxic thing about the internet. It allows the ignorant to be heard saying they are correct. But you are completely wrong, I CAN silence your voice FOREVER. And I shall do that now.
I may be remembering wrong but you could lock targets in the beta. With the musket, that prevents you from getting headshots so you should not lock onto the target and I believe there is a slight aim assist for muskets.
It's mostly dead for PC but there is still a small community that keeps it alive. Console may be able to breathe life back into the game though. I'm excited for the large scale PvP of Throne and Liberty but I'm worried I may fall behind if I don't spend money.
I get that completely. I tend to be a positive person so it comes across like I'm all happy about this game but there are definitely negatives and I'm for sure burned after the release. They have a long road of recovery ahead of them and I hope they do it because the game is fun.

Another tip would be to grab a mount as soon as you can since it’ll help traveling through Aeternum so much faster 👌
Good tip! The quests during your first 25 levels aren't too far from one another but the mount is definitely nice to have
@BraidedZero do you think is a good idea to level up your mount for additional speed or do that after I reach 65?
@@josesemino8284 I would concentrate on that kind of stuff in the endgame

Another one is to get your server and faction settled between all friends ASAP.
Very good point!

Is this the color blind mode for the game?
Yes, I forgot to turn it off before recording.
@@BraidedZero I thought it was cool looking for a video, and made it stick out compared to others I’ve watched.
