So here I am 61 years old sitting in front of youtube eating Boo Berry cereal dry out of the box and watching Pink Panther. Great day!!!
That is awesome!
I feel like I was transported back in time, when life was a lot simpler. This brings back so many memories. It's a shame we can't bring that back but thanks to you, we can have a taste of that magic again. Also, keeping the commercials in here helps maintain the authenticity of that time period.
Couldn't agree more!
@Anjali Callipari omg sounds tempting :)
The Pink Panther show was underrated. It almost felt like a classy version of loony tunes or Tom and Jerry.
I liked it because in had that Looney Tunes look & your right it was like a cooler Roadrunner
It was never underrated. I watched it since it debuted in 1969, and everyone talked about it.
Pink Panther is the first TV show that I was into when I was about 2 years old. I love it, and it is underrated. Fat Albert is another great cartoon that is underrated, but Pink Panther is beyond classic. Happy cartooning!
@@Doggeslife i loved it as a kid .. also loved tom slick, george of the jungle and super chicken.
The more I watch PP now the more I fall in love with it. The old and new movies are classic and this cartoon is a top 10 for sure!!!
Brought back memories of waking up Saturday morning watching cartoons that were fun ☺️!! OMG!
All those kids in the commercials are in their 60's now. Time marches on.
yup
Maybe late 50s at best. I'm 52 and was in first grade
tyvm for not editing out the commercials its interesting looking back at what people were buying and what toys were popular back in the late 70s almost 50 years ago!!!
I was 6 back in 1977 for some reason i miss that time in America
I was 16 and it was wonderful.
What's funny is I remember watching all of these and I remember all the commercials, it's a flashback
This is the best. Now I just need a big bowl of sugary cereal! 😄
Remember to read the back of the cereal box too .
@@RWildekrav66 And don't forget to get the toy inside the box.

Forgot about most of these. The hours of play inspired by these cartoons was endless.
R.I.P. Muhammad Ali. You are, and always will be the greatest.
The Champion of ALL CHAMPIONS!
Floats like a 🦋butterfly!🦋
Stings like a 🐝bee!🐝
He took on anyone thought they were better than the Muhammad Ali!
This man turned Boxing into a global phenomenon!
His attitude and his charisma were matched by no one!
He truly was THE BEST OF ALL TIME, BAR NONE!
love Pink Panther. still do. so strong in its production value.
Well, all right!!! You got some rare stuff here, namely Space Sentinels!!! I've only heard of this one. 1977 was a bit before my time, but I'm glad someone had that Beta rolling! I'm an animator, and and a hardcore collector. We gotta celebrate YT before it all goes bye bye!
how much you charge for 10 sec animation piece. monemedia83@gmail
Hanna Barbera really liked the Fonz!
Thank you so much for making and posting videos like this one! Especially for keeping the commercials! It’s the closest thing so far to a time machine.
Glad you enjoy it!
I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE THESE SATURDAY MORNING TOONS!!! ESPECIALLY THE 70S!!!
I feel like I’m seven years old again in front of our big console TV and having a big bowl of King Vitamin cereal. Please take me back…. 📺
Loved King Vitaman. Along with Quake, Crisp & Cap’n Crunch
What a blast! I loved some of these shows back in the day.
Kind of wild to see how prescient The Pink Panther was regarding treatment of the homeless, hungry, and sick with policing, unnecessary and misdiagnosed hospital treatments, and no recognition of the actual problems of the suffering. Very underrated cartoon. Hits a lot different now
Not sure if "prescient" quite fits, as all of those things were issues long before the Pink Panther was even created.
@@Desslar They definitely were.
This is TOTALLY what I grew up watching as a kid on TV. My sis and I LOVED watching the Pink Panther.....I have all of it on DVD, the movies, everything. You have to be a fan of the original movies to get some of the humor....
I wont watch until Saturday though I wanna relive being 5 again lol
Damn, C.B. Bears!! (Deep Kut!) Hard To Find Even Nowadayz🤘🤯🔥
Please please please find more 70s lineups! Absolute treasures !!
Wow! I had forgotten all about the Muhammad Ali cartoon!
My dude, I’m a big retro toon lover. I have a large collection of retro toons myself. I am loving what you are doing here. Keep them coming.
Awesome, thank you!
@@MoneMedia How did you aquire this treasure trove of Saturday morning video goodness?
@@mysteriomarvel933 i followed the tv schedule and put them together myself
@@MoneMedia See it's that kind of DEDICATION that makes some Channels GREAT, and some eh. Your channel falls into the EXCEPTIONAL CATEGORY! The time these videos take is not simply point click and save. As you said you followed the schedule and put these together yourself. However the creative side is just one aspect. The editing, the entire project and video takes time, effort, and again dedication!👏 Thank you Sir, for giving us 70's kids a blast from the past. A quick time jump back to the 70's. Many great memories and wonderful times were spent in front of the 📺TV📺 on Saturday mornings. Either with friends, family, and even days by myself, my Mego Superheroes line-up doing battle. Or my Hot Wheels cars lined up to race!🏁🏎 I can remember having Frosted Flakes, Froot Loops, Quisp, or the little multipack mini boxes. They had 6, 8, and 12 ct. Kelloggs had 🍎🍎🍏🍏🍎🍎🍏🍏-Jacks,🐯Frosted🐯🐯Flakes🐯, 🦤Fruit Loops🦤, and more. I'm not as familiar with Big g multipacks. 🏈🏀Wheaties⚾️🥊,☘☘Lucky☘Charms☘☘. Post Cereal I don't remember having 6 or 8 pks. But I LOVED Fruity Pebbles. I didn't like Cocoa Pebbles? Now I LOVE Cocoa Pebbles, and eh on Fruity Pebbles. So many great memories. My Dad would occasionally make breakfast. He made an egg sandwich that NOBODY, even me, and I watched him make them, yet NOBODY can replicate how awesome they were. Mmm-Mmmm! Sorry, but they were sooo good! Then Mom would come into the living room after coffee and the paper. Saturday's she'd 😴sleep😴 in. She worked her butt off! My Mom was AMAZING! She'd come into the living room about 10:45-11:00am. Because @ 10am the Bugs🐰Bunny🐰/Roadrunner Show was on. It lasted until 11am. Then the cartoons came to an end and the "syndicated" shows came on. At 11:00am Star Trek the Original Series was on. Mom loved that show. That and Kung Fu with David Carradine, oh and Emergency. Kung-Fu came on at 1pm. But at noon Mom and I would watch AWA ALL⭐STAR WRESTLING! From 12:00-1:00 we'd yell at the 📺TV!📺 We cheered for the High Flyers (Greg Gagne & Jumpin' Jim Brunzell), who always were "messed" with by Bobby the Brain Heenan and his band of baddies. Nick Bockwinkle was the🏆Champion.🏆 Verne Gagne was a kinda sorta Vince McMahon, except he was a full-time wrestler, then became Owner I guess. The or DA CRUSHER! He was the BIG LUG...Kids loved him. He came to a Target store on 27th street way back in early to mid 70's. He took pics with kids and fans. I also remember going to County Stadium 🏟 for Brewers games. Staying after the games until 12-1am for autographs. Most of them always signed. FOR FREE! Unlike now where some "athletes" want $25-50.00 a signature. My point is these days are MISSED! SORELY MISSED! The 70's were awesome especially for a kid. You could play outside and not be afraid of some freak grabbing you. There were ALWAYS families and neighbors outside washing a car, cutting grass, cooking out, or just relaxing. Saturday Mornings were so much fun. Simple some may say. No internet, no "streaming", no📱📱📱📱Smartphones📱📱📱📱, just -->☎️☎️ & --> 📞 📞 📞 📞 📞, no--> 🖥🖥🖥🖥, just -->📺📺📺📺, and NO📀DVD's💿CD's💿Blu-rays📀, just 📼VHS📼📼Tapes📼. Actually those came a bit later. Also letters slowly dropped off📗📃📩📨✉. Mail was replaced by📧📧E-mail📧📧. Someone else mentioned sledding and or tobogganing, snowball fights, and just enjoying the outdoors! Those days, those simple wonderful days are a distant memory. Sorry for yapping, but these are wonderful memories, wonderful people, and wonderful times. Thank you again! God Bless and take care sir!
Wow time flies by so darn fast! How do you find your videos that we grew up watching?
Take me back to the fall of 1977 when I was just a baby watching great Saturday morning cartoons they were the best!!! I love live action shows too like The Red Hand Gang, Thunder, ABC Weekend Specials and more too!!!! The Red Hand Gang with Matthew Laborteaux from 1977 to 1978 and we went on to star in Little House on the Prairie!!!!! Thanks so much for posting!!! I love it!!!! I love the 70s!!! Can you dig it!!!!😃😃😃😃😍😍😍😍♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️✌🏻✌🏻✌🏻✌🏻☕☕☕☕🥳🥳🥳🥳🎂🎂🎂🎂🕺🏻🕺🏻🕺🏼🕺🏻🕺🏻🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹
i can dig it
Fantastic work! Really admire the effort to collect the commercials from the same time period.
thanks
☆Such a great collection of classic cartoons! Flashbacks of waking up before everyone with a huge bowl of cereal and plopping down to be immersed in these technicolor wonders...thanx Soooooo much, definitely subbed up and looking forward to sharing these to watch with my neice. I'm happy to state that I've exposed her to many classic cartoonage. She loves them too! Much respect and appreciation to you and yours ☆
Yes, wake up early and watching toons with a big bowl of cereal 🥣. When American Bandstand or Soul Train would come on then you knew the fun was over until next weekend
Didn’t watch to much of NBC on Saturday’s as a kid. Watched ABC an CBS but loved the Pink Panther!!
Same here. As soon as the Pink Panther was over, I switched between ABC and CBS for the rest of the morning fare until Noon
That Astria was the True Essense of Natural Beauty I Garontee!
I didn't realize till I saw the documentary on the Space Sentinels DVD that she was the leader of the team!
In the Summit candy bar commercial, I saw Kathy Lee Gifford!
yup
Ahh, the CB craze. I was 12 at that time. Had the T's and loved the movies and tv shows that jumped on that bandwagon.
Baggy Pants reminds me of my cat, Luling, except Luling is a tuxie.
10/02/2021: Thank you for posting. Brings back so many memories. I was out of high school already but I luv’d Saturday morning cartoons. I am 63yrs old now, but I still luv these cartoons. Aloha🌺from Hawaii.
Glad you enjoyed it
The year before I was born... God id give anything to go back and just do it one more time =]
Archie's voice sounds weird in this cartoon. I never imagined he would sound that bad lol
His Voice is being performed by Dallas McKennon, probably most famous for his work as Gumby. He's a fairly prolific cartoon voice actor, however he usually performs whacky sidekicks, animals, and non-human characters, so I have to agree... casting him as the teenage protagonist who's ostensibly considered "The Cool Kid in School" at Riverdale High does seem like a very odd casting choice to say the least.
I mean, his voice just evokes this strange animosity in me towards the character. It kind of makes me want watch him be thrown into a pit of venomous snakes. What are your feelings on that, Archie? 1:20:54 Really? Okay, well, you're the boss. Throw him to the snakes!
Yeah, wtf was that bonkers shhhh???
Love cartoon's like to see more 👍
life was soooo good as a kid in the 70's
Mercury has the capricious grin of his namesake.
I came to the U.S. sept 1978. this was before my time. But I love Saturday morning cartoon. This era was before cable TV. We got cable in 1979. But best cartoon was in NBC, CBS, and ABC at that time. Then at 12 to 1 pm went to play outside...good memories
Wooow!!!!!!
I forgot about The adventures of Muhammad Ali 👍🏾
WHATEVER IT IS I THINK I SEE BECOMES A TOOTSIE ROLL TO ME! I SUNG WAY BACL THEN AND I STILL SING IT TODAY. LOVE THE PINK PANTHER SHOW AND LOVE THE GOOD OLE 70'Z MUSIC. GOOD TIMES! 👍👍👍

Awesome NBC Saturday Morning lineup featuring The Pink Panther & C.B. Bears! Keep up the great work!
Ah, 1977. Sure it had good cartoons, but shall always be remembered as the year movies changed forever.
How so? I know the music of 77 was great.
I'm the only person I know who remembers the Red Hand Gang. Great theme song!
Man on man coming home from school on a weekday to turn the TV and watch cartoons what's the fun part but the Pink Panther is one of the cartoons that I remember I remember the commercials the Tootsie Roll commercial when I was a kid when that came after that first episode had just ended the commercial took me back life was just so simpler and so awesome back then I wish that we can go back to that time maybe in the next life we will but after watching these episodes I'm now a kid again thanks for posting this video have a great one thanks
you are the guy-ty for this -this was my childhood at 8 years old
lol.me too .what a flashback...I want the super friends too
Watched the whole thing, loved it!
I noticed they had a lot of animal live action stuff
I use to love watching the red hand gang wow flashback
It used to be on at 11am so u didn’t miss it!!
If I knew Hell's Angel's ate Honeycomb cereal when I was a kid, I would have ate it every day!!!
I never knew there was a cartoon about Muhammad Ali.
That tootsie roll commercial ran well into the 90's
sure did
Thirty years. Love the voices too. Wise old owl is Paul Wenchel, Dick Dasterdly
Yes!!!!
god i LOVE this pink panther.
Most of these were exported to the UK! Thanks these were entertaining..
GIVE ME the Westwind and I'll love you forever! Westwind: 13 eps about a family sailing around Hawaii and having adventures!
Splendid marvelous job fellows!!
Thank you kindly!
As a kid , Saturday morning was literally THE BEST. Great video quality on this upload makes it even better
Glad you enjoyed it
I always used to hope that the All-Star Laugh-Olympics would be on. I enjoyed all of these cartoons, but that was my favorite.
I loved the Red Hand Gang..it was like the Hardy Boys for kids at the time!!
Absolutely brilliant!!! I was 10 years old in 1977 and clearly did not watch NBC’s fall lineup. I missed a lot. The live action shows are really fascinating. Thanks for posting!!!
Cool!
I loved cb bears 🐻
I was jus thinking about Undercover Elephant the other day too!
I love that you put this together for us. Thank you. It was a fun trip down memory lane!
Any time!
Ok I'm here LET'S GOOOOOOOO!!!
I grew up in the 70's but why do I not recognize any of these cartoons besides the Pink Panther? (Which is my absolute favorite btw)
This makes me so nostalgic for a time period I never existed in
Nostalgia gives me such a good yet sick feeling.
Thanks for these. Brings back good memories of a great time. I usually caught the Pink Panther show and all its various forms whenever it was on, and probably watched some of CB Bears, but I was more of an ABC/CBS guy--Scooby Doo, and the Looney Tunes and Superfriends and stuff like that. But it was a great era for cartoons overall.
I would love to do ABC and CBS but they have the copywritten cartoons...scoob,superfriends, looney, flinstones etc...
Pink Panther was the coolest cartoon
Alphabits cereal should make a comeback.
ruclips.net/video/kaUj55pO-rM/видео.html
Did anyone catch the order of the heroes in Space Sentinels?
Hercules
Astria
Mercury
Just add cheese, my favorite muenster because this ham & cheesy cartoon is a hit with me!
That plane sounds sick lol
Look at Mohammed Ali when he was younger.
the pink the pink panther. space sentinels. the archie and sabrina show are on dvd
I have all five discs of the Pink panther
I was 9 yrs old in 1977
so you got to experience the 70s Saturday mornings.
I remember everything! Thinking that the Muhammad Ali show inspired Mike Tysons Mystery Machine!? As for Band of the Hand, I don't think I ever saw the end of this! Along with The Blood Hound Gang on PBS and maybe 25 other kid detective shows I never saw the conclusion of I have a lot of unfinished business in my subconscious! This is why life feels so incomplete.
I remember run joe run the alpha team Shazam and the Jetsons 😅
I was 10. Bowl of frankenberry in front of me ( chocolate chip ice cream if Mom wasn't awake yet), and nothing else mattered.....
Nostalgia!!!
id go back to then for sure. check out early mom and dads yard. house. neighborhood etc. there is definitely that logic of where would you end it? maybe a visit is best.
THE RED HAND GANG!!!! OMG!
Can you do NBC Saturday Morning Cartoon Line-Up with commercials (early, Spring-Summer 1978?
NBC Saturday Mornings (1977)
Good Endings (1977)
Bro where do you find these this is awesome
searching high and low
The Pink Panther cartoons are now being aired on ME-TVs Tune in with Me Monday through Friday 7:00 to 8:00 intermingled with Looney Tunes and on Saturday mornings with Popeye.
@2:09:27 Yo-Ball can also be swung around and used as a weapon!
Awesome
I remember the Star Wars glasses from Burger King
i think they did it for jedi too
I was 11.... 🤩😁
Snickers, the original protein bar.
Ah 1977, the year of Hausu.
Loved the PSA ad on safety on skateboarding, biking and skating during Pink Panther.
CB Bears
Charlie... OMG... LOL. A female Charlie, but the bears don't look like Angels to me... Kinda like the idea.
Tape deck... Wow. Uhhh... What's a tape deck?
Now this is a diverse cartoon. From the 70s. And certain people claim nothing was diverse before them.
Sentinels is ok, but it may be over my head...
The Archie and Sabrina Surprise Package
The woods adventure was cute, Talent Show was classic Archie.
Muhammad Ali seems a little too narcissistic for me...
Thunder, felt like I got in the middle of it?
Nice camping first aid lesson 70s style though.
What happened to Search Rescue: The Alpha Team? What even was it about? Couldn't get much out of intro/outro. ☹️
Baggy Pants is like Charlie Chaplain and Keystone Kops rolled in one, LOL.
The Nitwits seemed oversized? Some pretty good puns and cracks though. That PSA bookended the Saturday morning? Well done!
Ok one live action Little Rascals version of Scooby Doo like series ended it? Mystery solving kids.
👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼♥️♥️♥️💯💯💯💯
Cool.
NBC had a few good shows in this particular lineup. Mohammad Ali and Undercover Elephant were enjoyable and Pink Panther was the Pink Panther. But sadly there’s placeholders here…”Hey It’s the King” and “CB Bears” were filler, while “Posse Impossible” and “Blast Off Buzzard”(blatant Road Runner knockoff) were absolutely horrible. NBC actually scrapped nearly this entire lineup mid season and replaced it with Hong Kong Phooey, Globetrotter, Herculoids, and Spaceghost reruns to try and salvage the year. That’s how badly ABC and CBS were killing the Peacock network on Saturday morning. So much so that NBC was strongly considering scrapping cartoons all together, a choice reconsidered when they finally got a runaway hit with the Smurfs not long after. But even so, they just never had the draw or decent cartoon flow that the other networks did in Saturday mornings. Not surprising that NBC dumped cartoons for good first. As always you have done a great job creating these lineups, this one in particular a good comparison to what the other networks were airing.
thanks
2:43:37, Matthew Laborteaux, went on to star in the PBS Limited Series, Mulligan Stew. It was a show about proper nutrition and how fad diets did more harm than good. a 4432 menu plan was the best, 4 fruit/veg 4 grains 3 dairy 2 meat/protein
