I love the mods on your rebel DCT!!! This is the inspiration for when I go from my NC700 to the 1100 DCT! Keep up the great work!
You've been busy doing all those mods! The M/S fairing looks really good. You may need to swap sides with the handguards, and turn the brackets over so they sit lower. As is, you're not getting the protection as designed. Looks awesome! Hope you enjoy it!
Thanks! I love my bike ;) Yeah, I think I need to turn the brackets over. I rode on the freeway today and they helped with the wind, but could def be better.
Exactly, first thing I noticed is they're on the wrong side and should be flipped.

For the oil changessave your receipts for the oil and filters.
It is good practice to use a notebook and document protectors to save all evidence of your maintenance whether you do it yourself or at the dealership.
I maintain a spreadsheet.
Yes, need to clean and re lubricate your chain every 500-700 miles or 3 months. I have the same year, model, and color. Love this bike.
that and make sure the extra slack isn't more than like an inch and a half... then you have to adjust your wheel to tighten the chain, as it slowly stretches out over time.

A bit of black weather stripping between the head light and wind shield will silence that whistle. Good looking bike.

Thank you! You can easily turn this into a touring bike with aftermarket products. If I had waited for the touring bike I would personally still pick this one. The dct is so easy and fun to ride....you're going to enjoy it!! Be safe out there too! 😊

I liked your handguards but I'm wondering about the alignment appearing a bit high. I cant make out the mounting hardware but is it possible that they are on the wrong sides or maybe its just me and the camera angle...either way, good on ya! I'll be looking for a pair as well.
Coffmans are not the exhausts, they're tip-end resonators. They're not tuned at all. You can find much better sounding real muffler that can be tuned with baffles and such.

Yes, it fits while expanded.
how was the install for the fog light switch?
Very easy! The more involved part for me was running the wires under and on the side of the tank.

How is the bike riding with passenger?
I haven't taken anyone for a ride yet, only my dog. I haven't been riding that long. I'm not sure how I would do with an actual human on the back...

These crash bars are true to their name... I don't understand how you can take a real curve without them touching the ground and making you crash. Hard pass!
