@@wh33lers If you like metal, there's two songs you need to hear too. Rivers of Nihil - Where Owls Know My Name - and The Silent Life. Saxophone has started to show up in more types of music now a days. :D
Wheeler cos it’s usually associated with slightly cringe 80s disco/pop and never taken seriously hahaha. Listen to ‘We Aint feeling time’ by FKJ. Or any FKJ stuff to be fair
i feel like it doesn't have the same impact without the full minute of ear fuckery beforehand. That's not to say i don't appriciate the genius of the timings and the beats of said ear fuckery, it's a vital ingredient of the overall experience. But it's still a delicious pocket of music and a perfect loop, so well done.
I'm a clarinetist (it has nearly identical machinery to saxophones) and can appreciate the sheer technical and compositional genius of this piece. Buuuut, now having listened to the loop for a while I kinda get you, the contrast with brutal makes it even better
@@varjonyymi Yeah, man, it's like that saying; 'you can't truly appreciate the good times unless you've experienced the bad times' That being said the 'bad times' certainly aren't 'bad' in this case, lol. I adore the dichotomy - one section being relatively ordinary without the other but both merging together in some chaotic (thank you @FUCKOFF) masterpiece.
Absolutely awesome!!! I’ve wanted an extended loop of this part ever since the day I first heard this song. Has to be one of the most beautiful pieces of music I’ve ever heard!!❤
To this day this is one o the best 30sec clips of music I've ever heard. It just meshes so euphorically... but its weird bc it still needs the rest of the music to go with it to feel complete
Man on everything i was thinking damn I wish there was a 10 hour loop of that sax solo... I'll be damned of course someone had the brilliant idea to at least make a ten minute one
To be honest, I’d enjoy it if they made a thick jazz album like this. Yes, yes I know it’s not the same as having the crazy lead up and lead out of this, but still. I enjoy this and no one else plays like this.
This probably what the audio from climax to what post nut clarity feels like, Blissfull and short, Thankful you got it out the way, then it stops and you continue on with your day... Untill next time.
as far as i can see, this seems to be some kind of modal progression? As in the scale changes each and every time he goes up and down it, and that it seems to be progressing, like a chord progression almost? Not like the modal jazz you usually hear, which sounds interesting and kind of good, but doesn't have that sense of resolution that's happening here.... I've been thinking non stop about this solo for days, i cant read music though, I'm self taught and was lazy about that sorta thing. But i DESPERATLY want to know what makes this tick, and doing it by ear seems to be impossible for someone at my current skill level v.v Also 10 hour version when?
Exactly what I was looking for. First time I really care for a saxophone.
Look up the song Of Reality - Calabi-Yau by TesseracT and that will probably be your second ;)
@@antonwihk Thank you. Sounds also amazing. I will give it some repetition and see if it sticks like clown core.

This part blew me away honestly
🙌
I keep waiting for the horn. This is basically musical edging.
Haha, should have sampled one in between
Damn, this is scratching an ITCH I've had in my mind for weeks. I literally keep going back to this song just to hear this part.

Definitely, but we can't have everything in life can we
You're right. This song needs all the chaos before the sax hits. Then it's UGHHHHH

bro did god's work by putting this together. Now we need an hour long loop....
You can only unlock this video by listening to the full song, otherwise the pure saxophone vibes will tear you asunder
This is truly a masterpiece of a solo
Thank you. This is literally one of my favorite pieces of music ever recorded.
Amen brother

Let’s give credit to the drummer as well.
