Thank you for a fantastic video, Ian! The race was a blast and your cars, race craft, and overall stunning performance were a thrill to be a part of. Thanks for all you do!
Yes!! 🙌 I made it on your video! 😊 What an amazing event! Thanks again for the tips and all the help. Also, congrats on the big win! 🏆 I’m going to have to bug you on driving tips… 😅
Very cool post .interesting to see how some guys dance with their car as it laps ,others just move their head whilst others bite their lip . 🙂 just discovered your channel today and am impressed with your film quality and interview technique. Gave you a subscription 👍Greetings from Northern Europe ...Harry
I love Electric Dreams and their dedication to slot car racing. Makes me wish I still lived in west Los Angeles. I was hoping to see Jim Rose, a NorCal racing buddy, make the field of entrants. HO rather than 1/32 scale is big up here in Oregon, with a good group of enthusiastic racers in Eugene and the Portland area.
Hey Gene, yes - Electric Dreams is the place right now. The races they/Marco are putting on are second to none. I just wish more people would travel to them from around the country! I think that's still new for 1/32 - people who travel for those races. We'll get there! I offered to provide Jim a car but he politely declined. Trying to get him out there more! GL with your racing in Portland and let me know if there's any big races up there!
Hi Ian, If I ever make it back down to my birthplace, West Los Angeles I will make sure to drop by Electric Dreams and live out another bucket list dream and race in one of your races. Fun in the sun and on the track. Also, ED is my favorite place to purchase my 1/32 slot cars and accessories. Have fun. Gene.@@idwurks
Hey Lee, Thank you so much! Electric Dreams had custom NSR Supergrips made in "Electric Dreams Yellow." They behaved just like regular supergrips, but like the "Special event" rubber by NSR, they were immediately recognizable and easy to tech :) Hope that helps!
Muito legal seu canal Ian. Sou do Brasil e estou me interessando novamente pelo slot car. Me diga uma coisa, o que é este rolo que passam nos pneus (13:37)? Obrigado!
Thank you! 🙏🏻 The roller has adhesive to clean the tires! It is used to clean shirts and clothing here in the USA. We use them to make sure the tires are sticky!
That would be cool if you could have team races where two sets of 3 cars are tethered together. Both front & rear tethers can be adjusted. I smell a sub-culture. Cool Runnings.

It’s always interesting to me too! People really just have a natural motion to driving. And thank you!

Hey Ian Great Vid, I had 1 question what kind of rubber was everyone using for rear tires? Thanks again and congrats for the win!!

@@idwurksRunning spec tires at an event like this just makes sense. The fact that they’re so unique and easily recognizable makes things super easy.
@@wjspade absolutely! It’s way less difficult to get up to a baseline of speed when everyone has the same tire.
Holy smokes! I'm on there...
You made the cut! 🤣🫶

What controller do you use and network if Difalco type?
I used a difalco early on but found I was faster with the third eye. I have used both third eye and TruSpeed apex. 🙏🏻
Thanks!
What voltage do these types of races run at?
12.5v 👌
what tyre type are you using?
Typography or type of car?
tyre is it rubber or silicon?

@@johnnyfuglestad349 ohhh I’m sorry! I misread. We run rubber tires - the tires for this race were special NSR Supergrip 13x13
was this NSR Moler only or nobody entered another NSR car ?
Mosler spec race. The gear ratio, motors, wheels, tires, guide and bodies were all uniform.
