This kickstand is extremely strong with the ability to adjust at multiple different angles. Ive had mine for 2 months now and its still feels like the time I first used it.
I really like this, especially the kickstand and I shall buy one when I change my Xr for an iPhone 13 mini in January. This is a lovely clear video, as always.
I love that disclaimer at the beginning! Manufacturers should always be confident in their product.
Sadly some companies try to dictate all sorts of things about the review. I have to say ESR are not like that at all and are happy for us to review as we see fit.
It's great that this doesn't have the cable attached because you can use that same cable for all you other devices. So you have to carry around just 1 cable, 1 power brick and this charger.
I really liked the idea of using this. Came with a nice charging cable.

I got one. it gets super HOT. I use the cable they provided and the apple charging block.
I think that's probably inevitable given its size - I only use it intermittently at my desk, so I haven't noticed it. Thanks for sharing 👍🏻

Hi. This is slightly off-topic but it reminded me of something. Some folks on an automotive forum I monitor were complaining the iPhones with MagSafe compatibility weren’t working on their built in car Qi chargers. This was when the 12 line first came out. Do you know if there are still issues with the current 13 line? I currently have an 11 and would miss that feature if I upgrade. I realize a cable is faster but Qi is so handy. Thanks
I have a VW Golf with a Qi charger and my 12 Pro Max works fine in it. Pete has the same car and a 13 Pro Max - he hasn’t mentioned any issues. It also works fine with my other Qi chargers, but I don’t have any personal experience beyond that.
Rather a good point that carrying the magnet puck is easier than carrying a cable. Tell the EU USB-C is a go.
Doesn’t seem to be officially “made for MagSafe” so does it charge in 7.5W or 15W?

Yes - you can always go higher. It’ll just draw what it needs.

Would this work well on the car dash board with the kickstand down? Like cani just use that sitting on the dash or will it go flying
It would go flying, but ESR do make a magsafe charger for cars.

The MagSafe ring animation doesn’t show up because ESR are not Apple “Made for iPhone” certified

I have just got an iPhone 13. One thing I knew straight away: don’t care for MagSafe. Qi pads are good enough.
This esr charger make my phone very hot and that’s harmful for mobile
