Thank you, very interesting narrative, music is pleasant and singing touching throughout. I adore that you always pay attention to rhythm carefully, and often tap first beat with the feat to make phrasing clear.

From me bielia in Polish would indicate she would use some chemicals to wash the plotno (any fabric) from any colour to white.

Yes! "Beleše" is connected with whitening, but in this case no chemicals were involved. Only spring water. That is why I described it as "washing".

@@musicavivaserbia There is a s deep spiritual undertone and true meaning of this song, especially the "whitening" bit. The song is an allegory of Christ's second coming to take his church to the Heavenly wedding. Biljana is the symbolj of that church, of Christ's bride, his followers and believers. Biljana is trying to live a godly life, pure, to go into her marriage white as a virgin, hence the cloth whitening, and care to protect, keep her chastity which followers of Christ try to do (with God's help) - to keep pure from the filth of the world which in the song is symbolised with the passers by (caravan) same as the casual sex relationships. IN old customs, the white sheet turned scarlet after the consuming of marriage and the grroom would show it as a proof of his bride's chastity before marriage.
