      Hi Hans, this footage was shot before I purchased the DZ41 display (it was shot before I uploaded my first Dengfu E10 video).
      I prefer the DZ41 display over the DPC241 because I can run it further outboard.

      Apologies for the delay. The thumb throttle is simply a stock Bafang throttle.

      Lol. I see. I think you may have mistaken my dropper lever as a throttle lever 🙂.
      However, I have seen throttle levers which can be mounted can be actuated similar to a horizontal thumb styled shifter.

    How did you fit a 210x60mm rear shock on the E-10 Frame? It says max is 210x55mm I would love to increase my rear travel as I ride hard. Enduro/DH/FR/AM/Trail I do it all. But I would like to increase my rear travel.

    • @neekodevinchi
      @neekodevinchi  Год назад

      The Luna z1 is the Dengfu E22 (which I've also covered). You can buy complete E10s and E22s. Winice would be your best bet if you live in the states.
      Depending on the build and components, the price will vary. But Winice will work with customers to get a custom built E10/E22/E55 if you contact them.
      Tried be told, the majority of Dengfu owners tend to build them up. Its usually cheaper, as we may spot deals, E.g. I recently found Fox 36 160mm travel 29er forks on offer for £300 ($380) on offer through an online bike shop. So, it goes without saying, that building is cheaper compared to buying complete builds and possibly upgrading.

    Said it before, ill say it again. No one, is putting out valuable info on Dengfu topic like you are sir, and i freaking love it. Got my E10 on the way. Currently ordering all the fun bits.
    Do you know off hand, the longest dropper i can get away with on the medium frame? and and info/advice about droppers in general. (side note, id like a dropper lever that doesnt interfere with left hand thumb throttle) thanks man.

    • @neekodevinchi
      @neekodevinchi  2 года назад

      Hi there, many thanks for your kind words.
      I recently built a medium dengfu emtb which ran a 150mm dropper from Brand X. He is 5foot 10inches and he runs his dropper slammed with good leg extension. I did measure his seat tube length and am convinced that you could run a 160/170mm travel dropper from Brand X (maybe a 180 from One Up but I reserve judgement on that as I haven't tried it.
      As for levers, its difficult to reccomend a lever which could work well in conjunction with a throttle. In theory, you could use a grip twist throttle. However, I'd be somewhat cautious. Notwithstanding, it remains unclear whether you would prefer the throttle further outboard or inboard.
      Please get back to me as to how you would prefer to run the throttle and I can look into possible methods 👍🏿

    • @Indictedheart
      @Indictedheart Год назад

      I run a 200MM PNW RAINIER Gen 3 With travel Adjust & It fits perfectly. Though I'd recomend, going with a better brand if you can afford it. SDG Tellis, or a high end KS dropper, Rockshox Reverb is killer but way to expensive for me. All will fit with a 200mm travel. The E-10 has a lot of room for the dropper post.

  • @rickc2222

    Given you went long travel and changed the head angle slacker on the e22 - its got to be hard to really be sure which bike is the better DH bike?
    If you went bone stock and 150/160mm travel on both bikes, which do you think would be the better descender (as in more stable at higher speeds dh)?? I'm betting on the e10...

    • @neekodevinchi
      @neekodevinchi  2 года назад

      I'd say it depends on which frame size you buy, in accordance with the riders height/weight & dimensions.
      Being as I'm a tall rider of 6foot 3inches, I prefer to get into the bike to ensure stability, handling and control.
      Overall I'd say if both didn't have the 2 degree headsets and were both set up 160/150 travel, the geometry (with the exception of the reach, seat tube length, bb height and overall wheelbase (due to frame sizes) would near enough be identical. The weight difference between the two would probably be the determining factor as to which is more stable dh. Resulting in a hypothetical conclusion that the E22 would be the winner.
      However recognising that the leverage curve and anti squat figures differ between the two bikes (resulting in both frames favouring different set ups to achieve maximum effectiveness in rigorous terrain), it coincides with what I said in an earlier video. I.e. "they are two bikes designed to do the same. But the method as to how they execute it, differs".
      I'm still compiling my data between the two bikes so I'll share my findings once I've finished.
      Thanks for your comment 👍🏿

      You want a DH bike Look into Fanatik get a E-bike with a triple Crown, if your a beginner & dead set on an e22 or e-10 your kind of stuck with a 2023 Rockshox Zeb Ultimate w/ 170mm travel 44 offset, or you start to get weird dimension. 170mm is the sweet spot. I run 160mm/160mm on my E-10 but plan to go to the Zeb Ultimate 170mm In time.

    Giant Reign E+2 4500€ or an E10 M600 build for 5500€?

    • @neekodevinchi
      @neekodevinchi  2 года назад +1

      Personally, I can't see how an E10 (regardless of spec) can fetch up to 5500€.
      The Giant E Reign for 4500€ seems about right.
      Honestly, the Giant E Reign is a good emtb (very capable). If the E Reign is available, go for it. But if price is a concern, I gladly say that 5500€ is too much for an E10 (considering I built mine up for 3250€).
      Hope this helps and thanks for your comment 👍🏿

    • @Magic_Vince
      @Magic_Vince 2 года назад +1

      @@neekodevinchi The E10 + M600 + Battery costs 2500€ including shipping and taxes. 2500€ for components (ZEB, super deluxe, DT Swiss 1900 Hybrid Mullet wheels MT5, etc.) comes to 5000€. Your spec is lower, but how did you achieve 3250€?? The bike I was looking at is the TOSA AM1.0, it’s a built-up E10. Same spec level even costs 5800€ with them. I have no place and time to build a bike..
      The Reign it is then (+Tuning Module)! A bit less power (680W vs 1000W), but decent components and a good price.

    • @neekodevinchi
      @neekodevinchi  2 года назад

      Whilst I appreciate that prices vary depending on where you buy an E10, I suspect that you could probably buy some of the components cheaper if you we're to shop around.
      The average price for a 170mm travel Zeb R fork is around £400-£450 (€473-€530). The average price for a DT Swiss H1900 Shimano HG wheelset would be around £350 (€420).
      In your circumstances, its important to weight up the costs between the two. But I would say that building up your own bike does tend to be cheaper than buying from a bike shop 👍🏿
