Than you! I had two pieces of jewelry and one turned out to be fake and the other real. Rubbing the pearls together was the test that I liked most. Once you've felt the difference its unmistakable.
Sheesh. I picked up a broken strand of pearls for fifty cents in a thrift store today and they feel real. The rub on the teeth and each other is slightly rough. Not smooth like ones I got out that I know are fake. They are heavy. They’re the most gorgeous colors I’ve ever seen or touched. Can’t wait to make bracelets out of this. Don’t want to put them down! Thanks for this video.
Mine are real💜. Thanks so much for the information. Bought those from the local fishermen here in the Philippines last Christmas for a very low price. I was totally hesitant to buy at that time. Now I am very happy🙂
I bought a small bag of what I thought were fake pearls at a thrift store and started looking at them and none are the same size, varying colors on them all and not one is perfectly round. They also have what I would call rings, like a tree trunk almost. Anyway, my question is would anyone go to great lengths to create crazy flawed pearls? Seems like a waste of time but just curious if they are maybe real. Thank you for what you do.
@@KyllonenLuxury thank you for responding. They are all a pink color and some have a bulb look. I may try and catch them on fire ☺️ lol. They are pretty though.
ok so i have some pearls but they aren’t round they’re these jagged shapes and they’re all iridescent but have different shades. i did the tooth test and they feel gritty.. i also did the fire test and the tip burned and when tried to scrape it, it chipped off/turned into some wierd powder? can someone tell me what this means??
Rubbing a pearl on your Tooth would likely damage your teeth. if it doesnt look fake then it is as good as its real. the fake ones might even be more expensive the real fresh water pearls.
I have a black pearl my mom put in my 6-prong Tiffany setting original 50 year old engagement ring, after stealing the diamond for a cocktail ring(?!). She says its worth as much as the 1/3 rd carat diamond. I don't really care as she put her & my grandmothers diamonds in cocktail ring with Jadite smaller stones, and I inherited it, but found it a little difficult to believe.
I just wana know what are the pearls do i have ..my aunt gives me pearl necklace, she bought it in hongkong at 1967 i really dont know what are they?! If ist freshwater or sea water pearl..
What do u think of this “pearl party” stuff? I cant imagine the jewelers in 100 hundred years from now tell tens of thousands of ppl that their “pearl earrings” r just fake.
Often they're low quality dyed Freshwater pearls. Often they put them in dead Akoya oysters. Usually have very little value. And yes some are even fake.
Yes! But so is being a bitter asshole, it takes years off your life. He’s beautiful either way, and we have no right to comment on his body and be taken seriously. I personally think maybe he’d look better 1000lbs heavier, crushing you and all your assholery under him leaving you to perish. But we all have our own definitions of beauty don’t we?

Those are the best ones. When they have history and been passed down.

Always feels good to have a nice find.
Hooya❣️ that's where you are going to the hidden treasures.
You said there'd be a link to a chart for weighing pearls but I either missed the pop up or checked the video description but couldn't find it??
Mine are fake but I love them.My mum bought them when I was born..The family were not wealthy but a girl after 9 boys!!!!
Wow, I never heard of the flame test! Great video.. thanks! :)
I cannot find the link that he mentioned about the pearl weight chart, did I just over look it?
Where can we get the reference chart for pearls
where can I find the weight chart?
Thank you for the information :) I don't see the weight chart mentioned. Would you mind sharing that link?
we had a broken link and had to remove it. We will add it in the future
Hi - love the content. I am learning a lot.... Do you have the link for the test by weight pls? :D would be useful
I just inherited my grandmother’s jewelry & 10 sets of pearls . Yup it’s real 😅❤ #ripgranny

Never thought Jobby's Cold Touch Technique could be used for Pearls.
I have a long string of pearls. Approximately 2 foot and they are quite heavy - I suppose they could be glass, but I’m not sure
try rubbing two pearls together and see if there's any pearl powder

They might be circle pearls. It's a very common pearl, but usually not very valuable but can still make some interesting jewelry.
@@KyllonenLuxury thank you for responding. They are all a pink color and some have a bulb look. I may try and catch them on fire ☺️ lol. They are pretty though.
Plastic fake pearls would undoubtedly melt, but what about if they were made of glass? Would the fire test still hold up?
Yes, glass will survive the fire test, but would fail the tooth test because its too smooth.
I had a tiatian pearl. It was kind of white and on a necklace. I gave it to my aunt.

You can email us photos at info@kyllonenluxury.com and we can have a look. Generally, if it has powder they're real.

Pearls are softer that the enamel on our teeth.
Very good vedio
I don't see the weight chart ,, have a string of pearls?, but was looking forward to the weight chart to see if they were real
Hi sorry we had a broken link and are trying to fix it
Omg the touch test works!!!
Please do not use a flame, it can damage a pearl.
Yeah, a fake pearl.
@@ambur_2k178 GIA told me it can damage real pearls and to never put a pearl under a flame.
The necklace I have has tiny knots between each pearl, I think they are pearls, are grainy? What do you think. They are vintage or antique not sure
If u run the pearls along ur teeth and they feel grainy, they r usually real.

it really depends on the size and the quality but pearls rise in price every year. This year alone black pearls have raised 30 to 50%
Hi ,
Can you please add the link for weight of pearls . Thanks
Lol, I wouldn't Reccomend the flame test if you have hand knotted pearls 🤣😂😉
F thanks for the heads up honestly sounds like something I would have done
my pearl weights 1.5 grams😶🌫
I love pearls so much..thanks for the info😘
How about the black pearl is it good to wear?
Black pearl has a completely different feel and looks great! Its more sexy and edgy rather than classic.
I have pearls look like dinosaur eggs.
It's really shiny I am hoping you can check it.
And it's heavy.
They r probably real. Sounds real to me at least. Be careful testing them.
Does the tooth test work when you have false teeth
